Simply stunning. What a beautiful machine Marie. Your work is just amazing. I love to watch you tear them down and rebuild them too. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for the next one.

You did such a a beautiful job! The former owners would probably not believe it's the same machine.👍

I love hollyhocks! Love, love, love them. For sure this will be getting displayed at your Mum's home, if I had a daughter who did that for me I'd hardly be able to tear my eyes off it. What a lovely thing to do!

I have my grandmother’s 1919 Singer 115, which has a motor that was added by my grandfather. The decals are pretty beat up but I just had it tuned up and it sews as smoothly as when I learned to sew on it many years ago.

The faceplate thread guide is hammer-riveted in on mine. That little rectangular plate that's sticking up a quarter inch on your disassembly video isn't sticking up on mine; just flat. I use paper towel too 🤣

Wheeler and Wilson engineer that integrated #9 tech, in Singer 15 body, was pure genius. Part count, weight, friction and vibration significantly reduced. Great design.

Just found your channel. Have spent the last 6 or so hours watching your videos. I love them!😍😍😍😍💗💗 The work and love you put into every machine is fantastic! The Picasso one with its box is outstanding. If I could afford the shipping it would be living here in the UK. How come you know so much about these lovely machines? Are you self taught? I've subscribed and am looking forward to more videos. Happy New Year and greetings from London. Kate. X

Hello, thank you for subscribing! I have really just learned by doing. One machine at a time. That in a few key people in the vintage sewing machine community that I can call on when I get stuck has really been a godsend. I'm glad you love the machines. ☺️

Hello! Can you tell me where to buy a new hook for this model? I've been searching for a year now)
@prometheansewingmachines7 ай бұрын
Honestly, all I can think is to find someone parting one out, or look for a second parts machine for yourself. Sorry about that.
