They're actually so delusional and have NO understanding of Americans that they think saying stuff like that will mean something to him, like "oh no". In reality we find it offensive. Heard an IRS B1+(# scammer the other day threatening jail if a guy didn't get her gift cards, and said he could trust her because she "believes in Jesus". She'd better damn well hope for her sake there is no Jesus, because she may get one hell of an awakening going into the next life. I'm not Muslim, but I would never say any smart stuff to anyone about Allah or Muhammad.

Question for you - I’m going to school for STEM (Science) and wanted to know if it’s feasible to learn this type of ethical hacking in my spare time, and where I could sign up for those courses if they exist.

@@Man1a2018 so I got into cyber from the intel side (Army intel background) which sounds like it will be very different than how you’d end up in the field. You can definitely learn this kind of stuff in your spare time if you dedicate to it. @ScammerRevolts has a primer on how to scambait which is a great way to see the social engineering side of cyber and learn the basics of how intrusions function. I’d recommend looking at the CompTIA certifications and at least study the material to see if it’s something you’re interested in. Your school probably has a basic course about cyber security and the fundamentals are important to the higher sophistication levels of hacking. I’d also recommend adding Bleeping Computer, Krebs on Security, and Hacker News to your reading to stay up to date and learn the jargon. All are approachable and are how I started building a cyber knowledge base. Also, if you’re learning how to code as part of your STEM coursework take some time to learn how PowerShell operates. That’s a bread and butter tool from ransomware script kiddies up to advanced persistent threats.

Tip for ya: If you want to stop that one PC/Laptop to even be used again, open a bios flasher (Asus reccomends WinFlash) and just flash garbage data to the bios chip. It will permanently basically commit suicide to itself when it restarts and goes thru the bios stage

@@GWFO Unfortunately by giving a tutorial, the scammers learn how it's done and figure out how to block it. The easiest to to just piss them off by wasting their time. Anyone can bullspit their way around that. My 14yr old absolutely loves pulling their leg and wasting their time. He puts them on speaker and we all get to hear. ;-) There are maybe 10 or 12 regular scam baiters on youtube. Each one does it different. We are gathering snippets one how we might do it. To do more than just piss them off, you need at least two people, one with IT skills and one with the gift of the gab.

It's always a good thing to get them to flip, because then they have someone on the inside who can be informants. Placing cameras or microphones, as well as collecting names & photos of the Bosses. It's easier for the authorities to bust the call centers if they have people on the ground there in India. I know Trilogy Media has quite a few guys that now work with them and help bring call centers down

I love how you “ scammed “ him to let you back into his computer…. then boom , you did your thing to blow up his high end “ scammer “laptop. About 12 or more years ago I got scammed out of about $329. I had a new Dell laptop, with nothing on it … no files or and personal information. I had some issues and went online and Googled Help for Dell laptops or something like that . When I called I got voices from India on the line . With so many businesses having overseas support call centers , I wasn’t thinking scam , I thought it was Dell employees, I was not thinking scam . Well after paying the money , I realized it was bogus . I immediately stopped my credit card, got a new one. I then took my laptop to a Dell computer store , explained the situation and they wiped it clean. Live and learn . I think the best thing is to download as many files as you can , and to destroy the computer. These scammers probably back up their computers daily. If they lose all their files , they can download their backup and be back in business. Not being too computer savvy, I’ll love for these good guys “ reverse scammers “ to make a video of how to use AnyDesk or Team Viewer, create a fake checking account, then how to log onto the scammers computer, then teach how to delete the most important files and systems , and how to destroy the scammers computer. I hate these FN scammers, who prey on innocent people, or the elderly who are not that computer literate. Is there anywhere to learn this stuff ? Just imagine having an online private course to learn this stuff . Then graduated 2000 more good guys who can now F these scammer up and create chaos with their computers and systems.
