You need good studded chains screw the cheap garbage and use some 6 inch high lumber to lift tire off ground to make it 100% tight

Usually just on 2 drive tires, and 2 trailer tires, but if the conditions are extreme, on all 4 drive tires. Basically 4 most of the time, rarely 6 chains

What's the point of chains on the trailer? I've only seen them on the drives.

Some states will require two trailer tires to be chained if the weather condition is really bad. In this case I chained all of them because I had only 2 chains for my super single drive tires. Ideally you want to chain 4 drive tires and 2 trailer tires, in really bad weather conditions, otherwise just two drive tires will do the job in most conditions. Hope it helps!

I agree, team driving isn’t for everyone bc it makes things more complicated at times. Best of luck as an owner operator, you should make more money if you are diligent 💪🏼 and the fuel card from TVC is indeed good, and saves money, especially considering how crazy fuel prices are these days.

Yes, only the outside tires, unless you have chains that go over both tires, and I have had those too, but most chains are singular, and you only have to chain the outside tire

Triple rails are required on single screw/drive axle tractors . 2- 4 singles on 3 Axle tractors, 2 singles on trailers
