Seeing Senior Outsider with his wedding band caused me to choke up and brought tears to my eyes. My parents had been married for 51 years when Mother passed. Dad who’ll be 98 this year has been a widower for nearly 25 years now. Being a stoic and of that generation of men who do not readily display their emotions, I am absolutely certain he misses Mother so much (as I do). Dad has Alzheimer’s.

It touches my heart that there is a company like Harry’s that helps support mental health because there such need for programs to help people with mental health needs. Our son was diagnosed with schizophrenia over a year ago and we found it very difficult to find the help that he needed. A lot of places focus on drug addiction and are only 30 day programs, however mental health needs vary from several months to several years. Thanks Outsider!! You made me nervous on that ladder with big chunks of snow tumbling down. Just bought Harry’s for my hubby!

I had a cabin in June Lake, CA., and had snow on the roof similar to this. One of our local capenters wanted to install what he called a Cricket above the chiimney. It is a V Shaped additon that deflects the snow around the Chimney and protects it from above average snowfall.

That is a bargain price! Well done, and they absolutely are just what I love too! Nice and fresh but warm and homely ambience.. exactly right! What a lucky winner but hey, VERY welcome for once 👌🤗😎 It is going to go fast now.. I do not know if you have a shop at home where you already made the kitchen in the times over winter you couldn't come out, that would be The ideal situation but nevertheless.. things will go much faster now! I know that all the slots between them logs need to be closed and that is also a huge project but, then.. you are on a home stretch! Yes, all the little things also will cost time in the end but some things can be done living there.. Hope that your wife is doing well.. well, as well can be.. and I hope that your daughter is fine? I often think of them and you beeing the caretaker.. I have a similar situation at my home so I know in some extent how it all is and I think of all of you.. It may not be much but maybe knowing that people who are complete strangers that think of all of you.. I hope that this kind of mental support helps in some sort.. Do also stay safe and please take care of each other ánd yourself too

I like the “Grids” in the windows. It gives it a more antique look. When I had double paned windows installed in another house that I owned, I had the Grids put in my windows and sliding glass door. Our current house has no Grids. When we build our retirement Log House in Montana USA, we’ll be having the Grids installed during the building of the windows. WOW, you got 5 windows for $400 ? That’s a steal ! Five large windows plus an 8’ sliding window cost me $5K for my condo.
