Mario in Cyberpunk would be pretty fun. The Arkham games, Goat Simulator, Klonoa, Mirror's Edge, Ori 1 and 2, Blue Fire, the Spyro and Crash remakes, and Yooka-Laylee: The Impossible Lair would all be very fun to run around in as Mario.

i also really like the idea of putting mario in spongebob: battle for bikini bottom, he would fit in perfectly due to it also being a 3D platformer collect-a-thon in exactly the same vein as SM64 (with golden spatulas paralleling power stars and shiny objects paralleling coins), so his platforming abilities are practically designed to work with the kinds of challenges you encounter in BFBB. the only issues i see are him not having a way to hit buttons from a distance like you would with bubble bowl or cruise missile and he would probably have to use the wing cap to bypass sections where you would normally hover or swing with sandy. personally i could see this happening eventually given BFBB has almost as much of a speedrunning community as SM64 and they have a profound understanding of the game's code, and it does have a modding community iirc

@@omegaotaku1342 i feel for most sandy flying parts Mario would just be able to long jump across but idk about the multi chains of Texas rope swings but in guess in some of them you could just substitute in a wing cap And throwing things he can already pick stuff up and his bowser throw is similar to upgraded Patrick throw in movie I'd also like to see movie game with mario lol So I could see his ground pound stunning enemy's like Patrick's does and that could possibly help with some further button presses that would require the missle only thing I can't think for is the bowling buttons

Personally, I'd love to see these mods expanded more. Sure, having Mario in games like Gmod, Tomb Raider, and Minecraft is AWESOME. But they need a bit more then novelty. Better physics and less janky is an expected, but Mario should be alerted slightly for these games. Like Sonic Generations, Mairo's speed should be faster for example. But the greatest addition of all... playing as Luigi! But, sense you threw your suggestion out there, here's mine Mario in Ocarina of Time, it just makes too much sense to me lol. Mario in Skyrim, why not have Mario in an RPG. Mario in Universe Sandbox 2, because that would be the most chaotic, 3rd Mario Galaxy. Mario in GTA 5, it's obvious. Mario in Quake 1, would be hecka rad.

@@ubahni I imagine Mario would swim out in space itself. While on things like planets he would walk. He'd burn when on stars or really hot planets. I think you could scale Mario to be different sizes as well. From Humane Size to GALAXY Sized. It's not the greatest idea to put him in that game, but I'd LOVE to see it regardless. How the physics like gravity would work and how he's interact with planets would just be so interesting.

yeah it would work well, given he already has punches and kicks to break objects and fight enemies with, and platforming challenges wouldn't be too hard because it's what he was made for. but puzzles that involve building objects might be a little weird given building isn't a mechanic in SM64 so it would have to be manually implemented into his movement, i could see his crawling animation being used for building. driving vehicles would also be kinda weird since that's also not in SM64 but i imagine being in a vehicle would just disable his moveset and the vehicle would just control like normal. the reason i like the idea of him being in a lego game so much is because i've actually been playing a lot of lego batman recently

I used to play super Mario 64 all the time, the DS port. Playing as Yoshi and Mario was always fun. But I honestly wish I grew up playing the original version. As outdated as it is, the old polygon models just have a unique charm to them that appeal to me. Also watching people online trying to put 64 Mario in games like Sonic generations is hilarious.

two things: 1. Some manufacturers (such as VIZIO) still put analog connectors on their TVs. I have a modern VIZIO tv so I know. 2. There are two Switch ports of SM64. The Nintendo Switch Online port is $50 a year (but it's a part of the expansion pack nintendo switch online)
