Just here to say you’re doing amazing!! This was me just a few months ago trying desperately to help my baby and handle postpartum with 2 other small children. It’s so hard, I just want to help validate the way you’re feeling! My baby cried and cried all. The. Time. I felt so helpless. My sweet 4 year old was often comforting me and telling me it was going to be okay. I tried everything I could, reflux meds, cutting things out of my diet, chiropractor, gut health vitamins for me and for him, etc etc. everything that anybody offered as advice. Nothing helped. He was still screaming all the time at 4 months old, my last resort was giving up breastfeeding but I wanted to at least try it and see if it helped so I pumped exclusively and froze everything I pumped (I wanted to keep my milk supply up, because if he was going to scream either way then my preference was to breastfeed him) and I committed to giving my baby goat milk formula for 2 weeks to allow any allergens time to exit his body. Day 10, day TEN, it was as though someone flipped a switch, my baby was a different baby. He was settled and happy and content. After a few days I went back to breastfeeding to just really give it a full test, by that evening he was screaming again. I was so sad to give up nursing him but I did for the sake of his comfort and my sanity. He has been a happy baby since. I had been told it was reflux or colic, I was a mama on a mission to help my baby. It turned out it wasn’t reflux at all. I don’t know if you’ll see this, but if you do, I want you to know I personally am praying for you and for little Harlow! Whatever is causing his tummy troubles, I pray you find a solution so soon and can rest and be able to enjoy this season a little easier! Your boys are blessed to have you and there’s no better mama for them than you!

My son had SEVERE reflux too. He would projectile vomit 10+ times a day it could travel a meter. He would soak me that I even had to change my bra and undies through jeans. We did EVERYTHING like you but for some reason he was gaining weight so I wasn’t taken seriously and he was also happy. The only one who helped and was gastroenterologist!

I'm not sure why you would book in all these engagements. Like it's ok not to have your usual, dont go to all the things. You have just had a baby. That is a huge work load increase whether your hormones are behaving or not. And it's not just hard for the first few weeks. Your life is busier now permanently. It might be time to rein it in long term. Make peace with the fact that in life right now you can't do all the things. And yes I had 4 children under 6. Your other boys will not likely remember missing out on a few things. And if they did they also need to learn that life changes and you have to adapt. Might be time to permanently slow down Sarah.

Hey Sarah. I can just imagine it's tough, a struggle and a very difficult time now with the new little baby. But one thing to be so excited about is those beautiful 3 little boys. I recently had a miscarriage and it's a devastating thing any want to be mom experiences.
