eBay is a good source for “hook and loop” as Velcro is now called.

Custom fitting hook and loop across the surface of a patch might as well be permanent. The holding force by weight of the patch itself is the definition of overkill. You’re not getting it off unless you grab a corner and peel pretty hard and consistently.
