The tails don't come off unless you really yank on them, its ok to lightly grab their tail. I grab my geckos by their tail all the time.

Picking them up by their tail is fine as long as you dont do it violently or for a long period of time.

Zeus Martinez Martinez you should keep your gecko at around 75° to 80° on the hot side and 65° to 70° on the cold side, I would recommend going on a care guide, Brian barzch is great but the best is probably leopard gecko the channel

JC's Pet Addiction it means it has the gene in it but it doesn't show it, so for instance say you have a Mack snow hey tremper albino you can see the mack snow but not the tremper albino, it's kinda complicated to explain reccesive genetics and hets if you want to learn more I would recommend to go on NERD's video on it, he uses ball pythons instead of leopard geckos but it really helped me understand hets, and reccesive genes

The native habitat of the leopard gecko is the rocky, dry grassland and desert regions of south-Asian Afghanistan and Pakistan they really like to clime and they life on sand you are not kepping them in there natrual habitat, they have a right to have a big terrarium and not that small boxes you kepp them in ! thats qruel! if you dont belive me you can look it up , if you want to have a happy gecko and an healthy gecko keep him like he wood life in the natur!! btmsrule2

I understand where you are coming from and if these were wild animals I would agree, but these are hundreds of generations of captivity, these are no longer wild. And no, I am perfectly capable and allowed to own an animal as I am not a breeder, I don't need to worry for the many needs of hundreds of animals at a time. Breeders need to keep their set up cheap but suiting their animals needs, this breeder does. BUT however if you are just owning an animal, then yes you should provide something visually pleasing and naturalistic for you and the animal that meets the animals needs it was quite rude of you not to ask why I said this and claim I should never have any animals, in fact, I own two lizards, a crested gecko and a leopard gecko, they are 6 and 7 years old, extremely healthy, kept in extremely naturalistic cages, which is pleasing to my eyes and meets their needs, I also own three rescued birds, a betta fish, and a dog, among my animals there are also rodents, snakes other reptiles, all extremely healthy and well kept In conclusion, these aren't wild animals, all their needs are being met, they are healthy, beautiful creatures and this breeder seems quite responsible, his handling is a little rough but also very short term as to not cause the animal much stress so he knows what he is doing. And honestly it was quite rude of you to assume that I would be a bad pet owner without asking why my opinion was as such I think I have made quite a valuable argument. What Is your views on this? Do you have anything else you would like to question about my capabilities as a caretaker or in my understanding of the health and safety of these animals? If not, I will not make any rude claims against how you treat animals and I wish you goodnight.

Chase Looms expensive, and ease of use. I think reptile carpet would be the best, but if you think about the price of all of it, plus the time to clean it all, it's hard to do by yourself

I know some breeders and keepers who dislike repticarpet because it can hook a leos toes and potentially cause them harm. Paper towels are also easier to use and clean up.

This is not animal cruelty, if animals were stressed or cramped in these types of caging, they would die within a month or two, or their growth would be stunted. How many reptiles do you own may I ask? Because obviously not many

Once again as I commented on your last comment This is not cruelty, at least not their cages. They are nocturnal so they don't like light, that's why they are in opaque tubs, they have heat tape(a kind of heat tape underneath the drawer) for warmth and get regular food and water. These are healthy geckos, clearly kept at the right temperature and humidity(you can tell because they don't have stuck sheds)
