Putting Speakers and a Subwoofer in a Couch!

This is one of those projects that I've been wanting to do for like 10 years and it's surprisingly easy to do. Of course I made it much more complicated than it needed to be but it was a blast! Tell me what to install next!

i thought that car speakers and home audio speakers were different ohms. Hopefully this doesn't mess up the components, but it's been a few decades since I played with home or car audio that deeply, so I might be off. Glad you and your daughter have been having so much fun with these projects. Totally fun stuff that our wives would never let enter the tiving room. :)

That's true! I've run car speakers off of this system in the past and haven't had an issue but technically it could blow the amp.

His kids may be a bit young for that one...if they pay attention they may have questions he might want to wait a few years to tackle. I seem to remember the castration of a miniature statue of David....but I haven't seen that movie since it was in the theaters, so I could be getting it confused with something else.

Turned into my new "midwest" diy GANGSTER! I am beside myself for stumbling across this channel. Now is when I, without fail, piss off my wife while I run back and forth quietly trying to smuggle tools to attempt to take measurements inside and outside of our couch like a diy ninja without getting caught and then figure out a way to convince her that all of the wood fabrication im doing is because I'm building random wooden jigs for my harleys I build so that she doesn't suspect anything. Then when she leaves I can dismantle our couch so I can "pimp it out" while she's away and hope I finish each individual project before she gets home or I have a feeling that I will be getting served divorce papers for dinner instead of pizza..... I know I'm not the only one..... just sayin 😁😂🤣🤫
