Preemptive answers:
Why not rebuild it? It would be pretty expensive and I just want to get it running, it is fin fine shape.
I made sure to thoroughly remove all the lapping compound as to not ruin the engine.
I discuss converting it back to 6V because I want it to be original. It also simplifies the 6V specific accessories like the generator-driven power steering, transmission wiring, and radio.
