Putting the AJP PR7 to the technical offroad test!

I tried this bike recently and felt like the urge for more! So recently, I tried it one more time, but this time, the terrain was more challenging and the bike didn't disappoint. It's agile, powerful and easy to ride and I could ride logs, pop wheelies and do endos like on my enduro bike. I'm sure this bike would be fantastic for many different purposes!

Born in 1985 in Denmark, 2 wheels has been part of Peters life since 1994 and he is today a passionate offroad-rider, travelling the world in the name of hard enduro. Peter brings experience from 7 seasons of working with RedBull Romaniacs & Minas Riders (Brazil) as well as knowledge from a handfull of latin-american events, racking up a total of 10 years to date working within the sport as an organiser, track scout and coach.

I think Rally Bikes are the real untapped market. Everyone wants a dual sport 450+cc with long maintenance intervals and Adventure guys want a sub 450 lb bike with a modicum of road comfort. I would love to demo one of these and see where it falls in between my Atwin and RM125 on the trails. Having tried a T7 and a KTM790 vs my ATwin I'm not sure they tip the scales far enough toward rally to be worth it over my ATwin however I think the PR7 could tip that scale.

This is super interesting. Not a lot of content on this marque. The rally boys like their 450's and I think many rally's are limited to that max cc? Will be very cool to see this up against 690 and 701 too!. The 230 enduro a look nice as well for a budget option - love to see that from an enduro viewpoint too. Tell AJP to give you one of them too and test the crap out of it :) let's put a top rider on a $5k bike in a (smaller) HE competition - very cool vid!

ajp race the 510 in the Portuguese nacional TT championship...lots of vids on KZbin too. They have just sponsored a ride this week on the 310 for the nacional enduro series.

The main AJP sponsored rider did very well in local Rally Baja events on this bike Peter. With the engine being 650cc will that not limit you to only certain Rallies ? I think it would be a perfect ride for Hellas which I was hoping to be my 1st Rally. A lot of the Australian boys are doing some great changes, protection, stronger wheel axles and other things. For racing you really need to speak with Thork racing they do the ecu mapping . If you get one keep us informed about your progress. I run a Trailriding place in the Algarve and use the PR5.

Algarve Trailriding Tours AJP also make smaller bikes so I think they would have something that would fit most races. We'll see what happens, maybe we'd meet at Hellas or somewhere else 😃
