I know James doesn’t really care for the superhero media but having Micheal on made me geek out so bad

I'm kind of surprised Michael hasn't been in more horror movies considering how much he loves the genre. Either way, I hope James Gunn gives him a big role somewhere in the new DCU. I've always liked him as an actor and just want to see him in more things.

Lol Michael clearly needs to see more movies. James was so eager to start firing a ton of comedies at him but I think anxiety and trying to think of movies on the spot got the best of him 😂🤣

I find it so bizarre that James doesn’t like comic book movies, even though some horror films are based on comics. And superheroes/villains are so similar to horror villains. They are characters in iconic costumes people like to dress up as and have complicated backstories and lore. Horror and superhero fans crossover just as much as horror and wrestling fans. He recently called Marvel movies factory produced slock, as if the Saw movies or Paranormal Activity movies weren’t mass produced on a conveyer belt every year too. Doesn’t mean they aren’t good. He’s also hypocritical because he seems to like Batman and Spider-Man.
@ryllo28867 ай бұрын
Yeah, it's weird when comic book movies actually have like... characters compared to those movies. I swear most of the people complaining about them haven't seen one in a decade.
@jeffhelba7 ай бұрын
I'm also someone who doesn't care for comic book movies but obviously loves horror. The answer is that there's just too many other things to watch. I don't care if people love comic book movies that's great, but there's some very cool and original movies coming out every year that I'd rather see. I feel like we only have so much time to binge things nowadays when there's so much content.

Slight correction, rotten tomatoes is jointly owned by warner bros discovery and NBCuniversal. Still sketchy to have a review aggregator owned by major studios.

I dont really see hypocrisy. Horror and comic do tie in well but like you said with wrestling. I heavily dislike wrestling but love horror, and metal and comics. And while yeah saw and paranormal are you get ehat younpay for films. Thats two franchises out of tonnes of horror films. Where superhero films are all tying into the mcu and dceu.
@ryllo28867 ай бұрын
I can't fathom heavily disliking wrestling, horror or superheroes. Like... they're basically all the same exact thing.

Terrifier 1 is better than Terrifier 2. No offense to the people who worked on the second movie but the final girl trope is yawn boring. Sienna is not an interesting character yet people in horror like to praise a lot of final girls who just don’t give very interesting performances. And there are final girls who rock but for T2 the movie is bloated, doesn’t really make sense with how little they revealed about the father with all the build up, and loses some of the creepy sensibility found in the first. The Halloween shop scenes were probably the best parts in the movie outside of the kills. T1 may not have depth but it does better with characters and ambience. Not a fan of their lighting though.
