I’ve been riding the Velotric Thunder 1 ST for a couple of weeks now . First off it’s amazingly light weight for and ebike at 36 lbs. Secondly it is very stealthy ebike as you would really have to look closely to tell it’s an ebike. I’ve found that riding the bike feels like a nice combination of new technology and old fashioned gearing with some manual shifting going on. I actually feel like I can tailor my ride to my liking better. I personally like that I have to put more effort into pedaling to get more assistance from the motor versus just twisting a throttle or as with a cadence sensor ghost pedaling to just motor along but that’s me. The ride is very stable and nimble as it seems to glide very smoothly down the road. At 73 years old the only thing I will change for my personal preference is to make my riding position more upright by changing out the handlebars and stem and possibly adding a suspension seat post.

Hey there, just watched your video titled "velotric," and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the content you've created. Your attention to detail and the way you showcase different aspects of cycling really stood out to me. As an avid ebike user, I'm always on the lookout for new and innovative products. That's why I was thrilled to stumble upon Freebeat's new crowdfunding project, the Freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. The fact that it can be charged indoors is a game-changer. It's exciting to see a company pushing the boundaries of traditional cycling and incorporating indoor fitness. Can't wait to learn more about this outstanding bike! Keep up the great work!

Got a Thunder 1 ST a week ago and I've noticed the motor likes to "surge" a bit and add power too easily and at times when not wanted or expected with just light turns of the pedal. Did you find that to be the case in your time with it? I wonder if mine has something wrong with it? Thank you

I switched out the stock seat immediately, it was hard as a rock. Other than that it's a pretty smooth ride on flat surface, any inclines will make you work harder as you don't feel the assistance as much at that point.

For all people just to let you know. The breaks on the handle bar have sensors to cut the signal to the rear hub motor. Super important. Without that you going to crash 100% into something.

I found a new project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike and it seems really impressive! One of its outstanding features is that it can be recharged when used indoors, which is so convenient. The brushless 750W motor and 80Nm torque provide a powerful and exhilarating riding experience. With its 80mm front suspension and puncture-resistant fat tires, it can handle any terrain. And the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature is a game-changer for fitness goals. Not only does the Morph eBike enhance your fitness journey, but it also allows you to contribute to the environment by converting indoor calories into CO2-free miles. It's a win-win!

{{3}} That's a really important point you made about the brakes on the Velotric Thunder 1 Smart E-Bikes. Safety features like that can make all the difference when it comes to preventing accidents. Speaking of e-bikes, I recently stumbled upon an exciting new crowdfunding project for the freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. It's a revolutionary e-bike that not only offers a dual mode for both indoor and outdoor use, but it can also be charged indoors! With its brushless 750W motor, impressive torque, and top speed, it's definitely worth checking out. Plus, the ability to generate CO2-free miles through indoor cycling is a game-changer for fitness enthusiasts and the environment.

Yeah it sucks when the electric part of your ebike fails and you're 8 miles away from home. I had to pedal a 100 lb. folding ebike home one time. Luckily it was mostly flat roads with some downhill or I would've been super screwed.

@@moonyshine when the bike arrived 1st thing I noticed was the derailer was bent in many ways, and the star nut was stripped and it was very crooked u can tell no effort was made to install it… told the bike shop to do a full evaluation on the bike.. they found out that the motor was leaning 🤦‍♂️ and had to add washers to make it straight… they said it looked like someone was in a rush to assemble the bike… I think there were 2 more issues but can’t remember atm… bike is amazing now tho

😆No one understands the difference between Pedal Assist and a Cadence Sensor e-bike, the second one is a push button bike that does all the work for you. This bike is meant for you to work and pedal in order for it to help you.

@@lucaszavala2953 it's called a cadence sensor and torque sensor and I know what they do. Still if your using the bikes power then you shouldn't be working hard and breathing hard. Pedal faster go faster but the motor should be good enough that your not oedaling with much if any resistance.

It seems that this bike is not suitable for shorter individuals. I purchased the bike that is recommended for Rider Heights between 5’1” and 6’4”. Unfortunately, my wife and I, who are respectively 5'1" and 5'2", have to hop off the seat every time we come to a stop, which is uncomfortable and inconvenient. I tried to return the bike, but Velotricbike wants to keep $200 plus 20% of the purchase price, which is not a fair deal for me. Additionally, I have to pay for shipping, which only adds to the problem.
