Thanks for watching! We did notice the brakes were put on incorrectly when we used it for the first time. They are much easier to use when they are to the back of the stroller! Sorry this wasn't fixed in the video and the last part of the video shows them on the correct way.

I got the Rebel 2 for my sister so it has the 3 wheels not four and it's tires not plastic wheels. But other than that, the same pretty much. This tutorial is super helpful. I needed confirmation that I got the base in the car correctly. So thank you. 🥰

One small thing . No big deal but you put the back brakes on backwards. You’re supposed to be able to put them on with a step in the standing position. You got them on the inside where you could keep but you will have to constantly have a hard time. To fix just press those metal release buttons that axel has on each side and a simple flip and reinstall.

I'm a car seat technician. FYI: 1. Straps should be at or below shoulder level when they are rear facing in the vehicle. 2. The retainer clip should be at armpit level not at stomach where in a car crash, the baby would have internal organ damage. 3. Tightness of straps is when you can't pinch any of the webbing. The strap covers can interfere with the tightness of the straps. 4. The installation of the base is not "get it as tight as you can," it is so that it does not move more than an inch side to side or front to back. If you put all your muscles into tightening the belt, you can get it too tight and in a crash the seat belt can snap and become a projectile with the child in it. If the vehicle has a retractor, that should be activated after buckling the seat in and then take any slack that is left to make it so it doesn't more than an inch. 5. The base should be at 35-45 degrees when installed. Especially for newborns, they should not be sitting too upright. Some infant car seats have an indicator to have the right recline. 6. If you are not sure find a SafeKids, local health department in your area and maybe even hospitals may have car seat technicians that can help you to properly install a car seat.

We feel the print can be for either a girl or boy. We used it for our son and where the car seat buckles together is a little low and doesn't leave much room for little boys. It is a bit harder to close because of this and didn't seem very comfortable. That was the only problem we found with this system. Thanks for watching!

They are for vehicles equipped with an anchor system. Most cars have them now and have had them for at least 10 years. I bet that van even had them and they didn't realize.

Those straps on the car seat are annoyingly long… it doesn’t allow the chest clip to be at the right level. So dangerous for baby in the event of a car crash. CHEST clip should always be at armpit level. You can take off the shoulder pads to get a better fit.
