Stunning tipi and stove. Loving the decor too. Recently Purchased a Safir 7 and can’t wait to use it. Interested to know your thoughts on the stove as I am tempted to buy the Eldfell or maybe a G-stove? ATB Ant 👍🏻😉

Ant Powell aka ‘The Jinx’ I personally think that the Eldfell is too expensive. I have the Safir 7 and a G Stove. A big advantage of the G Stove is the little window. This is extremely handy, because you can see the light dimming when the stove needs a top up. During the winter you’ll burn through a bag of wood every night, and you’ll need to top it up every hour/ hour and a half. Don’t bother with anything but the driest wood. Kiln dried is good. Otherwise use the haxagonal firelogs-we found them to be quite efficient and warm. I’ve also heard that the peat briquettes work well. Have you camped in your Safir 7 yet?

Andrew Wood - Thanks for the reply. I bought the Tipi end of last year on sale (cyber Monday or something!). Also purchased a half floor too. I have yet to use it, planning to go camping early April but I won’t have a stove at that point.

we are a family of 5 - with a 5 year old, a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Should we get the ten tipi 9 or 15 size and why? I cannot make up my mind!

Но нам больше нравятся ,,Юрты,, ,от в них можно жить при любых температурах ,правда они весьма громоздки по нынешним меркам.Зато надёжны...
