TentipiTents I am in Norway at the moment. But my middle pole bent during the last storm ☹️ but Norway is an awesome country 😍🏕 And I was able to fix/replace the pole with a small birch tree - now the Tipi stands strong again. A feature that no normal tent has 😁💪🏼

I thought you could have an open fire just on the ground but it doesnt seem like that would work with the center pole.

I want to buy the onyx 5 as a backpack tent but still long term shelter is that to much for a ruck? It weighs in at about 16lbs..

You'd be better with the Olivin. Smaller but packable. Onyx works if there is a group of you though.
