I love how much attention you paid to the new student and really focusing on her being comfortable! I was a migrant child so constantly entering new schools late and it can be very intimidating. You are doing an amazing job, I’m sure your students feel loved and cared about 💘

Can you please explain your behavior management system a little more. Individual, table, whole group. And the consequences and rewards. Do you use a clip chart?

Love that you took the time to pray about the new student and for her and your students! My secretaries are always great at letting me know that I am getting a new student so that I can be prepared. So happy that your new little one is doing well!

Next school year, plan materials/supplies for double the number of NEW students you got this year! Hopefully you will then have enough as new students get added to your roster.

Hi! I’m a fellow first grade teacher and have been getting great idea for crafts/activities. Keep up the great work. Do you have a video on the compliments behaviour chart? Or a video where you talk about it. I like the idea of using it next year. 🙂

What a lucky "girlypop" as you say (I've started saying it too because of you!) to have you as her teacher. I am sure she could feel the love radiating from you as you were so thoughtful to include her and make her feel welcome.

The kids may have been 'squirrely' that morning because of pictures. With this age, changes in routine often throw them off. It is good they had a good afternoon. 😻
