The reason a lot of people tend to watch Danny's side is because its on the right side and a majority of people are right handed so it's the dominant side. My friend who's a lefty exclusively watches Arins side because of their dominant hand.

Oh my god, I just notice how adorably stupid the Tetris characters are. The one in the top right is purple and called "Tee," the dog's outfit has designs made up of teal lines and is called "Ai," the robot is "Zed," and straight up has a tetromino on him, "O," is pretty self-explanatory, "Ess," I think is also self-explanatory, and then the duo is called "Jay & Elle!" I love this so much!

In this mode, you can hard drop Puyos too. Also, as long as you make another match or line within a couple seconds of your last one, you can extend your combo even more! Because of this, the setup you want is way different from normal puyo!

I was unreasonably annoyed that Dan never realized that Tetris pieces didn't destroy the Puyo, but moved them to the top of the screen after the next piece fell. He was consistently befuddled when non-junk Puyo that perfectly matched the Puyo he dropped Tetris pieces on came back.

I'm still a little bit confused about how that specific mechanic works in this game, but your comment has me like super close to understanding it... Correct me if I'm wrong here... So, if you hard drop a Tetris piece on top of Puyo pieces, the Puyo pieces immediately show up on top of the Tetris piece? And if you let a Tetris piece fall on its own, it crushes all the Puyo and junk pieces, but the Puyo pieces come back after the next piece you drop Tetris or Puyo? is that also why Dan's pieces are fluctuating between tetriminos and Puyos?

One thing about Fusion is that you don't need to focus on making chains in puyo as much as you do in other modes. Fusion mode has active chaining which means you don't have to wait for your chain to finish in order to set down your next piece. As long as the combo notification is still on the screen, you can just smash down pieces to make a bunch of single matches to increase the combo and throw much more garbage to your opponent.

For whatever strange reason, I can see the Fusion game of this being featured at Evo with a best of 3 rounds for preliminaries, a best of 5 for quarter and semi-finals, and a best of 7 for the grand finals. Lorena Sanchez You've got a few things to learn then. Tetris has evolved a bit since then with a few rule changes. General rules still apply though. There is a demo on the switch if you want to try it out. Also, I'd suggest go to SegaAmerica's channel for some Tetris tutorials. This game is meant for competitive play so those videos will help you with some basic strategies to cope with some opponents.

Man... I don't only wanna watch Dan's side anymore. The way he places Tetris blocks during this is infuriating (slight (extreme) exaggeration for effect). He's missing matches, chains and everything! Extremely good example: 7:36 , Here (while singing) Dan places the 1-block Tetris on top, for whatever reason, instead of in the 1-block whole that is covered by a Poyo-piece. I feel like yelling.
