Puzzles and Survival: Reservoir War, Full Gameplay

I have gotten a few requests for information and videos on Reservoir War so I wanted to do a complete video on it. Because a lot can happen in Reservoir War and it is hard to cover all the tips and tricks for each stage of battle, I decided to do the full war in one video. Obviously it is an hour long event so the video goes just over an hour. While long there is a lot of useful information, including tips and tricks on some military tactics, especially related to Reservoir War. The first couple of minutes I do a brief introduction on Reservoir War. I hope many of you can find this video useful and shout out to my alliance for letting me share our battle with everyone! This battle was a victory for our alliance, so shout out to (TWS) TheWoodShed in State 16 for an excellent victory. And shoutout to (FEW) Few from State 11, our mighty opponents that put up a great fight. Reservoir War is a tough battle for limited rewards and it isn't always as much fun when you lose, but I think it is important, especially in Reservoir War, to be good sports as the victors, and the not-so-fortunate. Hope it helped! Like I said, I'm a lil all over the place. Most players can get away with just chillin, occupying spots owned by the alliance, shouting out weak areas that need defense, and sending reinforcements where needed. Good luck!

Hi, when 2 or more commanders occupy the same building, do they all get points? Or only the first commander gets the point?

Everyone occupying gets points. In the new wasteland conquest only the rally leader gets the points.

To clarify for my team members, can you lose resources from base attacks during the event?

During res war and nuka there are no resources lost (or gained) from sanctuary hits. During valiant conquest yes and if your sanctuary is in the wasteland and you get hit during wasteland war then yes.

Awesome video, very well explained. Been waiting for an in depth Reservoir War guide. So in your opinion, are the rewards worth what you spent as far as speedup and diamonds?

Great question. So realistically the answer is no. Lol I spent close to 45k diamonds and about 2 or 3 weeks worth of speedups. Is that worth the 3k water bottles I got? Probably not. But since it is one of the only places to get Levina frags and I saved for the event then it was worth it to me. (Levina +2 now) but you don't have to spend like I did resource wise to get rewards. I am considered a very active player in my alliance and I enjoy the war aspect of the game so that's the difference. If you are focusing on raising might and building your sanctuary then you probably shouldnt spend all those resources. Take whatever rewards you can get by just reinforcing and occupy and backing up your alliance. There is no shame in that and is just as important!

I mean if you cut a deal with the opposition to have 2 towers each for occupancy points which a lot of teams do, then just sit on your arse and do nothing it's worth it. The more fighting you do the less worth it but your alliance might love you in return :)

@@Counttom90 A truce can definitely be worth it. Although they arent always honored so you have to pay attention to that but it definitely makes sense to spend less for max rewards lol. It's a tough event for sure!

Ok... I am playing this game since a month and spending some money, but... This is mess... Think about that, each clicks made in this war (spending diamonds to speed up troops, healing etc) costs 5$. How many players joined this war, how many clicks are made? What is the total cost for this war, including participants?

I know it looks like that. But if you play smart it doesnt require a lot of money. You saw me spending 45k diamonds that I had saved. A good alliance showdown event in a strong alliance (many participants) will land you easily 35k gems in rewards. Plus your daily bank, other events etc. I save most of my diamonds for war events or specific upgrades. Saving everything for events is crucial to save money and then just spend what you want. Look for the good deals, double up on sales and events when possible and it's not all that bad. As long as you're having fun and its within your budget.

@@richardmurdock574 you arent required to spend diamonds in reservoir war at all. There is no cost to participate. And there are speedup items that can be won during certain events that can used for speeding up your marches. You can have 0 diamonds and play in the event. I just happened to use a lot for what I was trying to do.

Alliance fort is the central location of your alliance and determines the range you can place other buildings. In addition it can be destroyed by enemies which destroys all other alliance buildings. It also plays a role in the event dead rising. You have to defend it for wave 10 and 20.
