Hey +OnlyPVPCat, about bonuses: If you have Buck Antler Trinket from Gus, even if you ruin a pelt lowering it by ONE star before you kill the animal, you have a chance to get it at the ORIGINAL quality when skinning: -If you hit a 3 stars buffalo with a first shot that makes his pelt 2 stars (then it dies in the next shot and shows 2 star corpse), you have a chance to still recover a 3 star pelt when skinning. -If you hit a 2 star alligator with a shot that lowers its pelt to 1 star, (then kill it with the next shot and shows 1 star on corpse), you have a chance to still recover a 2 star pelt when skinning.

There’s also the trinket from Gus that sometimes upgrades pelts from 2 star to 3 star. It’s expensive but it has come in handy more times than I can count.

works especially well with squirrels, a good pelt becomes a perfect pelt. Also squirrels go in your satchel so through the day you collect 20 maybe 25 then when your daily challenge is to supply Cripps with 20 animals in 10 minutes. You have them already, no running around trying to find them!

On another note, it's easier to sell carcasses for larger profits but if you want those precious animal parts any quality will do bit you still get higher yelds for 3 stars. And my personal favorite. Every star can also determine the animal's physical appearance sometimes.

You can get perfect bat carcasses from the Elysium pool cave. As you enter, the game spawns bats flying overhead and they tend to drop dead upon hitting the walls. Just pick them up.

For medium animals like foxes and coyotes, use repeaters. If you're unsure what weapon to use, aim at the animal and open its info, it will tell the best weapon for that specific animal.

You can get perfect rabbit pelt and those size animals with tracking arrow so it is possible to only use bow if you want to craft those arrows a lot....

Have you compared the lancaster and litchfield repeaters? I usually run lancaster with no scope and litchfield with one since it really do seem like litchfield bloom circle never closes without a scope on
