Its amazing how they keep changing but still have the same roots, PVRIS never dissapponts and I’m lowkey waiting for the album because its seems that it’s gonna be KILLER.

They started off as a rock group with their album and slowly progressed into this pop group..... Same roots...? Definitely disagree with you there.
@MJ-jq4kc5 жыл бұрын
@@RealMMAFan122 Lynn would beg to differ. On her instagram she talks about their music returning to the same energy it had while on their first tours of their career. It sounds like it still has the old roots, if you look past the pop-lock of the sound. i guess you'd have to listen to literally ALL of their stuff to hear it, and I've been listening to PVRIS for years now, since they were just publishing their first songs. change is good.

I even managed to blurt out loud, 'it's my favourite song' to Lynn and she said along the lines of I love it too, man THANKS SO MUCH GUYS FOR THE SHOW!!! Made getting the VIP tickets so worthwhile especially for the photo opportunity too, you guys are AWESOME! Hope to hear more of you on the radio soon, keep it up! To any one thinking of going to a PVARIS show, get the VIP tickets, will be worthwhile. And the supporting act Joywave was great too and so were songs playing over the speakers in the interlude such as somewhat relative unknown Tinashe's new songs, thanks for promoting great indie music guys!!!

It's clearly a PVRIS song, but I'm not as hooked as I was for their other singles and albums. It's got a lot less alt rock than I would've liked, but it's still an entertaining song. I'm interested to see how it'll fit in with the album as a whole. The video is wild, though, I do dig it.

My words. It's a good song, but I miss the style from the first album and this sounds too generic since it has so many mainstream music elements.
@rodolfogarcia59115 жыл бұрын
VR96FE I like this a lot. I don't like it as much of some of their other music but it is still great in its own way. I dislike mainstream musical elements, but that's because they're often used lazily. Not this song. Not PVRIS. This song is a complex tapestry of sound effects and it is beautifully rich. I danced to this song the other day while I was having an emotional breakdown. I've been replaying it ever since, constantly. Writing something I can dance to while sulking about my circumstances requires talent, and this production is well done. I commend PVRIS!

I can’t lie and say that I like this song, but I’m glad Lynn looks to be having fun. I really want her to be free and create the music she wants. I’m hoping for some songs that have more of a rock influence... something unique... with those lyrics from the soul that I know Lynn can deliver
@cherie74495 жыл бұрын
RPV I agree! Nothing wrong with changing your sound, but obviously the original fanbase is gona get whiplash if the change isn’t gradual. You know, the “I was a fan before they were popular” people 😂. This is pretty generic pop stuff. Compare with songs like No Mercy and Let Them In. Again, nothing wrong with it... just... unexpected. Even St. Patrick is less “safe” than this. I kinda appreciate the chorus though, its got some stuff goin on. But the rest of the song... I dunno... I suppose it works if they are trying to get on the radio. Which would be a smart move 🤔🤷♀️
