I believe PVRIS seems to be a little to crazy for "normal" people. In my opinion they have such a unique style which can be hard for people to understand or associate with. BUT I DO AGREE WITH YOU: They deserve so much more attention. But I hope they don't get withdrawn if they will get more popular.

It reminds me, the myth of Apollo and Daphne. An unrequited love borned because of a Cupid's vendetta against Apollo. At the end of the story Gea (Daphne's mother) turn her child into a tree in order to save her from Apollo. Some scenes are also similar to "Apollo and Daphne" statue by Bernini. Actually have to disagree. Lyrical, Old Wounds hits. Yes. But I think Separate is stronger lyrically. Also, Old Wounds is a mix between "HELL YEAH!" and "where's the lighter when I need one", so imo melodically, is Death of me stronger. No Mercy, too. But Old Wounds is a strong song, no doubt.

Thank you PVRIS for making life easier, especially in very hard times where the music speaks to me to continue even though everything is awful and hopeless and my situation is horrible cause of what I have gone through and going through in life. But it's still amazing in good times aswell. @@morganread-drumcovers the thing is that even the simplest of things can shine the most. Lynn has the power to elevate the audience by merely doing anything. This is the only video of them that I can say that is "decent," 'cause it's not bad. This song is heart-wrenching, there was so much that could have been done. I understand that she incorporated symbols such as the cosmos, nature, and many others, yet again, it is too simple. "Anyone Else's" music vid can be described as simple, but fuck, that vid is amazing and shines in its own way. I love everything she has done, from day 1, but this is the only thing that has made me say, "hm, damn. I expected more."
