I'm interested in putting my PVS14 behind a VCOG on a 300blk. Can you advise a couple ways to approach it using your products? Prefer a QD type mount but also plan to helmer mount eventually

Does an NVD exist that works both behind the optic (like a PVS-14) as well as in front like a clip on? Let's say you have two weapons, one with an Eotech and another with a traditional scope, and you want one NVD to swap between firearms, does such a device exist?

Can you please explain why you wouldn’t put the PVS14 in-front of the acog? (By in front I mean closer to the end of the barrel.) thanks in advance

The PVS14 cannot be dialed in. If the PVS14 is 12 feet off target, you won't know, and even if you did know, there's nothing you could do about it. Secondly, if you're using magnification, it's important to remember when looking through a PVS14, you're not looking at the actual object. You're looking at a phosphorous screen _reacting_ to the object. Putting the PVS14 closer to the barrel and then putting magnification behind it is the same as putting your phone closer to the barrel and then zooming in on the phone screen with your scope. All you'd see is pixels, or in the PVS14's case, all you'd see is phosphorous dots. (even if it could focus that close.)

surfdogdude no. Acogs have a tritium glowing element that will damage the image intensifier. I think there may a aa battery powered acog with night vision settings, but there is a lot of light loss through magnified optic. The pvs 14 was meant to be used with red dots that have night vision settings.

Is there any PVS-14 you would recommend for a .300 AAC SBR? Or is it a complete no go?

That’s way too many attachments to get so you can use the PSV-14. Better off just getting a NV scope specifically designed for mounting on a rifle.
