​@@impossiblehanley2732 Ice moon has great combo potential with Dr Spacetime, Raiding Raptor, Shieldcrusher Viking, Zombot Aerostatic Gondola, and really any powerful card. On top of that, it lets you get rid of an environment your opponent has and lets you freeze a lane. Ice moon is insanely good. Frozen Tundra however, is just a worse version of Wallknight and Citron's signature superpowers.

while genetic amplification can be good as a turn 1 play then you play the 2 cost you got turn 2, it’s pretty slow, and you don’t even know if you wasted your turn 1 play each time you use it, other ultimates are more versatile, it doesn’t matter if you’re playing control, ramp, swarm or aggro solar flare’s is good, an extra sun every turn is just good, basically killing a turn 1 play and making a poison Shroom is good, possibly losing turn 1 as your opponent plays conman and you get fucking water chestnut is *not*

Heya, French Fry man. I started playing PvZ heroes recently because of your content, and I've been enjoying the game so far (as well as your content). This pleases the memelord. I once played a game where I played cosmic scientist and got bullseye zombot with a graveyard played on the field. I had to do it to the unlucky player who had to witness it, and they were about to win as well. This happened twice in the same day. Same draw from cosmic scientist, same bullseye zombot, same graveyard in lane, same victory, same tears of joy. I thank you for the tips you have given to this community.

I think treating the main supers as 3 cost cards secondary supers as 2 cost cards is a flawed mentality. They aren't exactly balanced like that. Beta-Carrotina's super is meant to be used on turn 1, then you have a turn 2 play. Still a weird disappointing card, but it has more use than you give it credit for. A 3 cost card that does that would be terrible, but as a turn 1 card, it's not as bad as you think.

Beta carrotina Super was supposed to be a 3-cost card that creates a 5-cost card, unlike any other hero super. Because if we consider that adding Amphibious our Team-up to a card, it costs one more sun (This was supposed to happen in-game, for example Water Chestnut is a 2-cost 0/8 with Amphibious and Team-up, (also remember that for example, embiggen is a 2 cost card if it wasn't a super power that gives +2/+2 so 1 sun = +1/+1),the water chestnut in just stats, was a 2 cost card that "WAS" 2/10, if we consider the same thing. Beta super problem is that 5 cost that becames a 3 cost is always worst than a 3 cost that becames a 1 cost because of how super powers work and because of the control of the field u lose just by doing her super. Also Beta super can conjure a plant that has Amphibious OR Team-up, that is gonna make 4 cost to 3 cost and if the card u conjure was both it is a 3 cost to a 3 cost that is completely trash. Also Amphibious and Team-up together are a piece of trash garbage, just good in amphibious decks(normally in most of the decks, u don't have any amphibious minions) making her super even worse, unless u are making an amphibious deck that is a viable option. P.S:Just a thing. If u pay attention to the changes they made on some cards, they say "it's overall better" when they make the card with one less health and one more attack. This can mean that in their balance things, they consider 1 attack =1.5 health or even 2 health.

Okay, back again for my own thoughts! So Beta-Carrotina’s super. Hoo boy, where do I begin. I can honestly see why Beta’s superpower is structured the way that it is. You have to consider what the consequences of making Beta’s super play a minion when played could be the most broken piece of trash garbage to ever exist. If you consider how many decent to insanely good 2 drop plants there are in the game, and then imagine being able to play a random one on turn one with +1/+1, team-up, and able to be played in the water lane, that could lead to it being incredibly broken. The way how most 2-cost plants are when going up against any 1-cost drop is that they’ll be able to win a trade with most one drops if given +1/+1, with a couple exceptions to that (such as Wild Berry) since most 2-drops have 2 health and get +1 health. You also have to consider what 2-cost plants there are in the game, and how busted they could be if given +1/+1, team-up, and amphibious… all on turn 1. Like, say, Double Mint. If you get that, it’ll take over the game so quickly, and the zombie hero would have a very slim chance of actually taking it out on turn one, so at worst the zombie is dealing with a 4/6 on turn 2 that will double AGAIN next turn. Or Juggernut, having a 3/3 armored 1 on turn one is a guaranteed positive trade for the plant hero. Or Tricarrotops, where it starts as a 2/4 bullseye that quickly becomes a 3/5 bullseye next turn, and it’ll just spiral out of control. The point is that if Beta’s superpower made a minion when you play it, it would nearly always net a positive trade for the plant hero on turn one, since that additional 1 health can make bungee plumber or any other turn one damage card not do enough to take it out, and it can even become an unstoppable force if you end up getting the right 2-cost from it. And remember: this can all be played on the amphibious lame, the lane where hardly anyone plays any minions because they’re usually not worth it, so the zombie hero’s (usually) only means of answering it are via tricks. Point is, the way I see it, if it doesn’t play a random plant on the field when played, it’s underpowered. If it does, it would be (mostly) overpowered.

The problem is that there are alot of trash ring 2 drops too that won't put much in for beta and are deck dependant like seedling hot date or sweet pea I could see it being great if it conjured you a 3cost plant with those boosts because those are actually pretty good, like captain cuc and muscle sprout or event raptors, in short I think there are too many trash ring 2 drops for it to be great and that 3 drops would be better with it

It only requires one card instead of two though, so you are saving a card, and drawing a single card is typically around 1 sun value, so it is around 3-sun value

Buff to Beta Carrotina's superpowers: Genetic Mutation: make a random 2 cost card. It has +1/+1, amphibious and team-up. Lightspeed seed: conjure 2 superpowers. Superpower 3: 2/3 team-up. when played, conjure a root.

10 months late to this lol, but I think that you overtuned most of these. 1) This card’s effect is COMPLETELY RNG dependent, which is very unhealthy for the game, and it is only amplified by the fact that you spawn it. If you get Doubled Mint or Tricarrotops with +1/1, amphibious, AND Team-Up, you might have well have just won already. On the opposite side, you could get water chestnut. I’d make it conjure, but it also gives the plant -1 Sun cost. 2) Now really overpowered. Comparing it to Thinking Cap, you’re getting the value of a four cost card in the form of a secondary super power. I’d make it only conjure one. 3) This one is fine.

If what the original commenter suggested happened, what they get could make or break the entire match, and that’s SUPER toxic (part of why conjure decks are so hated). If you still want to make it spawn the minion, take away amphibious so you can at least chump block/trade with it effectively, as they have essentially played a card with the stats and/or attributes of a 3 or 4 cost card on turn one. The first few turns of the game are by far the most vital, so this would break the natural progression of power in turns. This is also why ramp (especially on plants) is so powerful. Being able to play high-cost cards when your opponent doesn’t have the resources to properly deal with them is incredibly strong. HG is most definitely powerful, but at least he’s manageable. With this, nobody wins. Either the BC player gets angry because they got a trash card, or the opponent gets angry because they got an OP card. I’d either keep the power how it is, decrease the cost of the conjure by one, or have the played card not be allowed to have amphibious.

Fry, if you haven't already, maybe you can do a "Special Abilities" tier list? For instance,.regardless of a plants/zombies individual stats or how good or bad of a card they are, look at just how good (or bad) is the 2 damage Admiral Bean does whenever you play a bean, how useful is Toxic imp's ability is of giving other imps deadly, how useful is bodyguard charging up the meter, how is Zombot's special ability, etc. Just ratings from a special ability point of view only, as a standalone judgement point regardless of the character's own stats, how bad or good he is in general.

@@xiphactinusaudax1045 I think you can play as Impfinity with 4 Barrel of Barrels and 4 Barrel of Deadbeard , you got deadly deadbeard witch can deal 1 damage to all cards on the field, it is also field clear. Although it also kill the zombies you put on the field, this combo is much easier than deadly Missile Madness, consider that Z-Mech can't play cards in Sneaky class.
