Love the video. I think the Roman road has been messed about a bit, as you contend. May I suggest a really good example in the South East, Stane Street running from Chichester to London. At the point where it runs north east up to the South Downs northern escarpment where the South Downs Way runs, the road is easily discerned on the ground. It can be easily accessed too by a road that runs from Bignor(where the famous Roman villa remains are) and terminates at the top of the Downs at a car park.

Excellent and thank you very much for pointing me towards it. Well done.

It's great when we do real cold in the UK. But it's rare. Everything looks so crisp, white and fresh, the ground is hard underfoot, the snow is dry powder or the frost is gloriously crisp and they day out is really enjoyable with nothing worse that a good cup of hot Bovril won't cure. I was talking to a Latvian girl who swore that anywhere hovering around zero here was more miserable than their -30. I think she's right.

That reminds me of Camp Bewdley (Which wasn't in Bewdley) a WWII American Army hospital. As a child I played around the derelict buildings and foundations of the wooden buildings that were dismantled and relocated. There was a road network and other infrastructure, including a water tower that still exists. Nature has pretty much taken part of the land back almost obliterating man's efforts, and the area where the HQ was is now a housing estate. As a side note, the abandoned railway through Stourport-on-Severn ran close by and was undoubtedly used extensively by the Americans. So, should you wish to do video on the canal and railway of Stourport I can show you Camp Bewdley too, I even have a book for reference.
