The corners and safeties aren’t in the run fit because, what happens when you have a good QB who has a great play action? The safety commits to a run fit…receiver runs past him and it’s city bbq. Same for c2, both safeties, c3 whoever is responsible for the 3rds. Always gotta have someone back there just in case.

@@GreeneryForTheScenery oh and yeah, the coding for defending RPO’s is eh. Especially in different quarters checks. The safeties never either commit to the #2/3 or fit the run. The just drift which is wrong, along with the nickel/apex defender who is either supposed to always fit the run or take the #2/3. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a lot wrong/missing on defense. The run fits on regular runs isn’t one of them…the pursuit angles are butt still lol but yeah 🤷🏾‍♂️

Tried it.. It works but they start noticing the adjustment audible to a short pass that beats the coverage.. what then? Maybe just have a man coverage to audible to? The meta loop blitz is also in 3-3 so this could be a good scheme.. Thanks for what you do!

What I do is i focus on the opposite of where the nickel corner is for the most part since I know ill have the extra defender on that side
