PWYS, LLAIS, and PLAID

Wow another great short - connecting the formerly disconnected (in my brain) then adding new words. It's like starting with a couple of leaves, connecting them and adding more leaves to build a branch. MA' HWNNA'N MOR CWL !!

When you explain the nuances of these words, I don't understand how speaking Welsh could have been emblematic of a "backwards" people, ie the reason given for the Welsh Not. It doesn't seem like there's any notion you couldn't discuss just as well in Cymraeg as in Saesneg.

Pwys means pound too e.g “Rhoddais i wyth pwys ymlaen dros Nadolig achos dwi’n folgi heb reolaeth ar fy neiet.” This is purely theoretical of course and not at all what happened to me… 🙉
