Have the XP with Areotech shafts, in senior, hit the ball with high ball flight so these are fine for me. Low strikes on the bottom grows lose some distance and of course height, more over the run up after. Love the feel and the look of the new Gen 7 XP. Tried the JPX HL but found that since I hit the ball very high to begin with I lost too much distance, so go the 7-GW in the XP and added three hybrids 4/5/6.

Hi guys! Just found your video, I'm loving the concept of your channel and the data you are able to produce, but I think you guys need to give us some context. For example Game Improvement Parameters vs Tour Parameters? After studying the image for awhile I can only assume the differences are strikes on the face ? I don't know if it accounts for anything else. If it is, maybe consider labeling it "average player vs better player" or something like that. Example 2: you guys might have to explain the number and is it considered a good number ? Take the XP data: - what is overall performance 4.5 vs tour performance 4.3 ? What does the difference mean? Is this regarding to forgiveness ? And I'm assuming higher is better ? So it's not as good for tour players ? - "Stopping power 3.2" I don't understand if that's good for this kind of iron category or not ? - And what is spin launch 220? - carry yardage 171, is this in meters or yards? Because it isn't labeled. And is this considered long or average for an 80mph swing speed? I hope this will help improve your future videos, because I believe in your concept! Keep going guys!

Thank you for the feedback, we did an explanation video very early on in our channel: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6O7c5msqNinga8 We hope this helps. As soon as we get our new video we will be revamping the way we film and deliver the data to be more interactive and obvious. Thank you for taking the time to interact, we are constantly working on improving!

Jack, I frequently make contact with the bottom 3 grooves. Can you suggest what might be models I should look at considering my nemesis is frequent thin shots. 6 hdcp but at 72 my 7 iron SS is down to about 73-74. The Gen 7 doesn't sound like a good match for me given your description and the disparity shown on your strike chart.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. Which do you hit more frequently, low toe, low center, low heel? Which would you rate higher for your needs distance or tightness of dispersion?

@@CoolClubs Never heel, rarely toe. Low center most often. I hit the ball pretty straight, so I would say distance and height more than dispersion. Carry a 30.5 degree 7 iron about 135 to 140 on a good strike with sub 5K backspin.

@@StevenDietrich-k2w if you have a steep swing (likely if you are thinning it a lot) you might want to bend your clubs more upright

They place the U channel at the top of the inner face to improve distance on high strikes....how about a U channel at the bottom to do the same...low strikes are suffering distance loss...like most irons

Maybe that will be in the Gen 8!

The XP is not easy to get through the turf. If you are in the rough it can be a blow up hole easy. Returned mine… The Sugar Daddy 3 wedges were very nice though. Should have kept them…
