We've been considering one of the Pyle keyboard stands. With wheels, Single tier. Good vid, entertaining and instructive. Thanks.

Thanks a bunch! I'm very happy with this stand, it's rock solid. I thought of the one with wheels, but I'm on hardwood and this stand isn't going anywhere so I went without (and added felt pads on the bottom to protect the floor). One thing that never occurred to me with the 2nd tier is if I have my Casiotone on the 2nd level, I can't see my iPad on the 1st level - getting used to looking higher up and putting the iPad on the Casio while I play the Yamaha on the lower one.

@@PianoTone That two tier stuff would be too much for me to contend with. 😁 Enjoying your videos. Thanks

Would be great to see the different 2nd tier heights. I have a shelf that I’d like to put a synthesizer and pedals on but don’t want the travel from the keyboard to the shelf to be easy as possible. Thanks either way

Hey there! There are 3 notches for the upper tier; they are exactly 1 inch apart from each other: pianotone.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/IMG_4947-scaled.jpg That picture shows it hooked to the top notch, so it can come down 2 inches from there and keep in mind you can adjust the angle of the top tier quite a bit. Hope that helps! Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe

Excellent review Tony. I have a similar heavy duty stand (by Plixio) but without to the top support for the second keyboard. It’s very sturdy and a lot safer that the typical X brace ones.
@PianoTone2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a bunch! Yeah this is SO much more stable; feels like the keyboard is just sitting on a table. The double X is a big improvement on the single, but I think this is still way better!

Thanks, just bought this for my new MODX6+, I got a hair up my a55 because I have a micro Korg so what I did on the top tear was swap the 2 arms so they are on the inside, yeah, realizing if you swap the bottom Z stand it will be on the inside anyway But , just a tip for those who came here for assembly tips. it does save like 5 inches for shorter keyboards.

You have this stand and are looking for replacement knobs? You could try looking on pyleaudio.com I believe they have a part section on there. If not then try the “contact us” link on that site.

Great video about this stand. I am thinking about buying this stand to put 2 keyboards together to make an organ. I do have a question about the top tier of this stand. How far apart is the lowest adjustment to the stand itself? I am trying to get both keyboards as close to each other and I am curious how far apart they will be in inches. Thank you!
@PianoTone Жыл бұрын
Hey there! Sorry I am travelling for a few weeks and can’t measure it - I know I have it set at the highest level and it is JUST enough room for 2 big keyboards so the closer setting for what you want is probably fine. You can tilt the top level as well. Thanks for checking out the channel feel free to subscribe

Looks like a very nice stand! As I begin to think about the next keyboard purchase, I am also thinking about a dual tier stand. The Pyle appears super sturdy, but I am going to need a more portable option.
@PianoTone2 жыл бұрын
The other one I was considering that my local music store uses for display is this one from Quik Lok (make sure you look at the heavy duty option QL642; there is a lighter double X version that is cheaper but not as strong). This one would be more portable than the Pyle: amzn.to/3GDvYMz

Yes it can go to about 33 inches in height. I actually also have a new stand though which I am about to review that is even better: Liquid Stands: amzn.to/3sptcXW (and it also goes to 33" or so in height) Thanks for checking out the channel feel free to subscribe

do u think i can put my microkorg on the top stand or it doesn't go that small ?

I'd recommend Liquid Stands instead (it's my new stand). The 2nd tier can adjust in width separately from the main tier; you can move the top 2 arms right beside each other if you want. Rewatching and see where straps go….thanks.
@PianoTone11 ай бұрын
Sorry I didn’t demo it - many keyboards will have holes on the bottom that the bolts in the straps can be attached to; only real thing that does is prevent the keyboard from being accidentally bumped off the stand. I’ve never bothered using them to be honest. Make sure you check out my review on the Liquid Stands stand - it’s even better! Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe

I noticed on Amazon, it says it only weighs 3 pounds. THREE POUNDS?!! That seems extremely light! Does the build quality feel sturdy at such a light weight?
@PianoTone Жыл бұрын
That’s not correct no way it’s only 3 pounds - I’d guess 10 or more. It’s incredibly sturdy and awesome build quality - I had my Yamaha DGX 670 (50 lbs) on it and it was super stable. I’ve even put my 25 lb Yamaha P125 on the too tier and it’s fine; the top tier will bounce a bit if you get aggressive on it with something that heavy but it’s still stable. Hope that helps! Hi, what about the rubber straps?
@PianoTone2 ай бұрын
I never bother with those; but if you want to, some keyboards have holes in the bottom for attaching those straps (to keep the keyboard from getting bumped off the stand). I’d recommend also checking out my review on Liquid Stands - the Pyle one is good but the liquid stand ones are even better. Some keyboards have holes in the bottom so you can screw the straps onto the keyboard to hold it to the stand (if someone bumps it etc). I've never bothered using them. You should also check out my review on the Liquid Stands version; the Pyle stand is good, but the Liquid Stands is better: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4XYp6SAaquKY5I Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe

What are the straps for? 😂
@PianoTone Жыл бұрын
They have multiple holes like a belt with bolts you can choose a hole in bottom of keyboard (if the keyboard has them) and bolt it to the stand - extra stability from not falling off using it gets bumped or something - I never use them. Thanks for checking out the channel feel free to subscribe
