Custom lead solutions 145 fireball and his 160 are extremely accurate out of my taurus bd . I currently have the 145s at 980 and 160 at 944 . I can adjust hs and get between 1030-1050 with 145 . His 145s are the only brand ive been able to get complete pass-through with in .357 even with the power it puts out . The combination of the veradium air taurus with tresslers 145 fireballs are a perfect match . I haven't had an opportunity to take anything with his 160s but on paper there accurate.

I'm a little disappointed that you didn't shoot the 145 grain nosler ballistic tips out of the gun ! The nosler were supposed to be designed just for this gun !

We did, but as I said in the accuracy portion, we didn't have much luck with any of the heavier stuff. With that said, I have heard that some of the heavier NSA ammo (which we didn't have on hand when we tested) does quite well at distance.

When adjusting the hammer Spring on the bulldog is it clockwise to tighten and counter clockwise to loosen? Or is it the reverse like some guns are?

Clockwise to increase tension (and in turn, velocity), counter clockwise to decrease tension.

What a shame the barrel isn’t ammo friendly. Maybe they need to take it back to R&D and fix that before getting us to buy them. Nova Vista/Air Venturi barrels don’t have that problem. I wonder if they could make the barrel for Benjamin? They must fix this issue. Accuracy is everything!

Benjamin should bring back the Benjamin rough, add a regulator and more shots, different calibers, that Benjamin marauder was the perfect gun 4 them to build off of, bullpups with bottles, more powerful and shots they missed a good thing knowing that the marauder was the best selling gun etc ..

M357 is a pass for me... I did a little barrel port work on my old bulldog (just smoothed things out didn't increase port size) getting 10 shots with 160 grains between 700 and 750 fps with the 340cc. Usually better to have a shot string that is a bit of an arc and not a straight downward trend.

is anyone else bothered by the placement of the "safety" inside the trigger guard? I had to replay the video again to see if I really saw that. Seems like a poor place to put it for any sort of trigger safety.

@@pyramydair Just because "quite a few guns have safeties located inside the trigger guard" does not make it any less dangerous or a good idea to do. The entire point of a trigger guard is to guard against a negligent discharge. Placing a safety withing this location, while convenient for the manufacturer, is reckless and dangerous. The only time your finger should be near the trigger is to fire. It was a good video but a dangerous design. It was another quality video which is appreciated. Just a poor design on the gun.
