Just brought my son a reactr small moving him from his veloc. After a lap of a white water park he soon started gaining the confidence to push himself and try getting in places and doing stuff he didn't have the confidence to do.

That’s exactly what this design does

So interested in your opinion on how the small compares to a Zet Ninja! 🙌🏻🔥 really appreciate your reviews!
@WadeHarrisonАй бұрын
I don’t have either to do comparison but can tell you they are drastically different

@@WadeHarrison thank you! Talking in class IV-V wise I guess the ReactR rides dryer with the higher rocker and maybe with more forgiveness even with less volume? And maybe the Ninja I keeps better the speed? A 152lb with full slalom background here trying to decide a boat to complement my Ripper 1 (which I love) for more challenging waters but sadly i dont have the way to test them here! Thank you so much for your advice!! 🙌🏻

I’m still loving my scorch

It’s still a solid well rounded boat

Hey Wade I'm wondering about swapping my medium scorch for a small reactR I'm 150lb, really looking for a 1 boat quiver that I can enjoy on G2 with the kids, but can also paddle on G4 creeks and G3-4 bigger water I really like the scorch, but would love a bit more maneuverability and a boat that surfs better I don't want to give up too much of the scorch's ability to look after me- I previously had a rewind as a 1 boat quiver, and realised I currently don't have the skills to feel consistently looked after on G4 in that boat (same went for the ripper I tried) What are your thoughts- will a small reactR fill that niche better than the scorch?
@WadeHarrisonАй бұрын
They are very close in size I like the reactr over the scorch personally
@tomjerram9204Ай бұрын
@@WadeHarrison thanks, I am leaning towards the reactr. How much more fun do you find it for surfing/ making moves on easier water, and do you think it loses anything in ability to look after you in harder water?

So I am a new paddler and only have a creek boat at the moment, (Code). Was thinking a getting a half slice to help make me a better paddler. Has this new class of “creek slices” sort of replaced the traditional half slice marker (Rewind, Antix, Firecracker, etc)?
@WadeHarrison2 ай бұрын
No it’s for someone that just wants like one boat for everything while I feel those are really good I like the ReactR as my creek boat and firecracker as my half slice if you have a code you have a very good creeker just pick up a good HalfSlice somewhere rewind ripper2 hotwhip firecracker those are some really good ones

Intrigue piqued - in your experience would you classify the React'R as a sport creeker vs a creeker that can slice? Curious if the cusp'r crowd might size down for a creeker that can tailie / play the river a little more? Any intel = 🙏 ~ mahalos 👇

This is definitely a sport creeker I have got it down in a few spots but extremely difficult

So at 155, 6' would you go S or M? Novice/Intermediate paddling the Ottawa. All things being equal I like the sound of S as it's lighter to carry (my ScorchX is not so easy to carry ;).
@WadeHarrisonАй бұрын
Try the small first you are one that in between the small and medium low end of the medium
@AndrewMoizerАй бұрын
@@WadeHarrison Many thanks. It seems the S isn't available in Canada yet. I should be able to try a M at some point though. Do you think the M would (straight) surf better? (I'm not interested, or able, in spins and tricks, just staying on a wave and being able to move back and forth).

I'm about 150 lbs. Would you say the sizing for the small Reactr would be better than the medium Scorch for me? I just felt the Scorch was a little big for me.

Wade, I demoed a medium and at 5’7 162lbs, it felt kinda big to me. Do you think a small would be better suited for someone my size?
