I own one it's a great toy and just for the keks of owning one but you can unleashe pure rage on try hards when you just bait them on there mk2 and just run when they fire the rockets blow up behind you so no damage taken just wait for them to run out use its insane turning cercal to blow them up and repeat until you run out of rockets then fuck off to your facility and you get the idea

It takes 3 shots from explosive sniper to blow it up, 1 homing missle, or... just shoot down it's operator I guess? Because, there isn't anything, that can really protect the pilot from getting shot from a regular weapon. The only advantage, that it's easier to land on small platforms with that thing...

Almost 1 year later, I have decided that this will be the more fitting spawn-beside-u flyable PV for me than the Opressors & Deluxo. I like the more realistic aspect of its existence & controls compared to those 3 which all have earned terrible reputations through f-ing tryhards & griefers! Plus it's much more casual & relaxing to fly around in. Now I just have to wait for a more reasonable discounted price of it considering its unpopularity & impracticality by most ppl.

And if it was some sort of compact battle armor that could come out of a backpack or something it would definitely be more practical, perhaps using it if your PV gets destroyed and you can deploy it whenever

Another bonus fact: while the thruster missiles have very low accuracy they are the strongest vehicle mounted missiles on the game. Only thing stronger is RPG. Try it out on some armored vehicles to see for yourself.

I like my jet pack. Im very far through the gane and own many weaponized vehicles, but this one is one of my favorites, simply because you can fly in those hard to reach areas easily. Definitely not a smart purchase for people who still have facilities bunkers or businesses to buy. But it is fun nevertheless

There’s a little secret feature on this thing that makes it excellent against Mk 2 oppressors... If you keep flying in a straight line with the thruster at full speed.. Homing missiles won’t hit the Jetpack... they’ll instead explode behind the Jetpack, dealing no dmg. You’ve probably noticed that, in the final bit in the Act 3 doomsday heist where you have to blowup Avon on a Jetpack, you’ll sometimes find that you’re missiles seems to hit Avon but dealt no dmg. This is the same thing that will happen with you. Just keep flying straight at full speed. Let the mk 2 oppressor griefer use up all their missiles, then you can turn back and fire at the oppressor while it’s defenseless. I also recommend using the chaff on this thing instead. Because of the said feature, missiles won’t hit the Jetpack so there’s no point of the flares.

This should honestly get a revisit. Community opinions and the amount of vehicles been added, this vehicle went from being a joke to now being a pretty decent “vehicle” to fight or fleet in air combat and more discovery of controlling this whacky jetpack easily, especially when landing while holding R1 and L1 (or right and left bumpers for Xbox. Idk about PC)

Chris Whitten they do basically serve the same purpose though. Killing and transportation. Just that one is impossible and one is logically possible in real life. The oppressor does do the same thing way more efficiently. The jet pack is literally the mk2 havok. Cool but bad.

LUO SI XUN already test both, Oppressor only good for killing. and for transportation it's kinda suck landing in close area but with Thruster u can almost land anywhere u want,very good for small mission also equipped with countermeasure function.

I really think this guy needs to be reconsidered, if you can use it well it’s a pretty badass aircraft. 1. Invulnerability As long as you fly in a straight line forward it’s impossible for a missile (besides the chernobogs) to actually hit you, they’ll just blow up right behind you. It’s really good for combatting Mk2s by running till they’re out of muddled and catching them with their pants down. 2. Strafing If you learn how to strafe with the thruster, you can out maneuver any helicopter and the only thing that can follow it would be a MK2, to use the strafe hold shoulder buttons (unfortunately don’t know about PC) and use the stick to maneuver side to side, back and forth, and use the throttle for altitude control 3. Air cushion This thing has a weird feature where if your landing gear is up it’s impossible to hit the ground. Using this you can fly extremely low to the ground without the risk of hitting the ground or any hills, however you can still hit things. Good luck to you if my comment inspires you to buy a thruster, it truly is a dying vehicle that really shouldn’t be.

i miss the older formula of gtas, i remember when i was a little kid id put in the jetpack cheat code on ps2 and fly near the desert area and in area 69 with the pretty purple night sky being able to shoot micro smgs from the jetpack and not worrying about it blowing up. not worrying about aircraft trying to shoot me down (besides the police maverick and SAMS near area 69 of course) now in gta every comes with a catch. you just cant buy something in this dlc and relax. everything can be locked on and everything is most likely a 1 to 3 hit kill with explosives and no protection. i remember in gta sa alot of things were balanced and at lease gave you a chance. i bet if you fly around with that jetpack in the city your going to have homing rockets up your ass. why cant it be a jetpack like jimmy neutron where it shoots into the sky fast and then has a hover mode like the hydra? why cant i use my guns on it like i could he parachute? simple things.

If u are in the Jetpack flying around and you get hit with an explosive sniper shot u will fall out of the pack and die and it will be destroyed. Also you will have to pay the insurance fee on it, not the person who shot you. So it sucks. P.s. this thing should have had controls similar to iron mans suit, with a vtol mode for take off and landing and a jet-like mode for flying. Also it would still have the jato rockets as an upgrade.

Im so done with Gta:O. Ever since the import/export dlc, it's been nothing more than a meaningless cash grab. It used to be a fun game where low level players had somewhat of an equal playing field with the high levels, because there was nothing to buy that would give the high levels an advantage. I enjoy mine. I prefer to grind rather than grief and its handy and surprisingly fast. Its like a super expensive Buzzard. definitely a rich persons toy and not essential but its fun. Much better than the Havok. No match in combat for a Mk2 oppressor but what is except another MK2? If youve got all the businesses and all the essential stuff and want a silly overly expensive but quite nice little toy, get one! TLDR Pyrealm is totally correct

For the CEO miIf you grab it right off the bat so it becomes your personal vehicle it makes it so you can request your personal vehicle and still be able to get your other vehicles if you accidentally get this blowing up then you could call in your CEO helicopter are your bike or stuff but for getting into tight places relatively fast it's okay nightclub missions helps you get it done fast

The thruster is the single most powerful weapon you can use against ground target. You can launch airstrikes almost uncontested...Given that you have been killed on it hundred times and have mastered the art. Once you do. You'll rule over LS. Until you see a hydra lingering 😂

i like no one mentioned the alt flying mode, that made makes it a viable pvp vehicle, you can ZOOM around the place so quicky with that mode, it's got better maneuverability then the opresser mk ii does. you won;t always win but if you're a good flyer you'll be fine. literally the worst part about the vehicle is the limited rockets.
