A couple more things 1) the special exhaust flames are unique to only the Sanctus default exhaust 2) the Damon Custom has an exhaust setting where the XYZ axis is off, causing the flames to fire upwards instead of back

The Sanctus is mainly inspired by the Ghost Rider bike. I never knew it had a different exhaust flame, but that's definitely a reference to it.

Here's 3; • The Ubermacht Sentinel (convertible) can actually seat 4 people, but there's no way for players to access the back seats normally. This was a carryover from the Singleplayer mission where you need to rescue Jimmy from the stolen boat, so the car was given usable back seats for Jimmy to use. On very rare occasions you can see NPCs sat in the back seats when a sentinel spawns with 3 or more occupants, as the game still recognises it as a 4-seater even if the back seats aren't normally accessible. • The Obey 9F and 9F Cabrio share a unique exhaust backfire sound when using their stock exhausts which no other car uses. They also backfire much less often than other exhausts, implying that this may have been an unremoved early example of a more subtle backfire design before Rockstar moved in favour of the exaggerated crackly design we got at launch. •The Cheval Surge is a design nightmare. It's an electric sedan which has a fully modeled combustion engine, it has a modelled driveshaft which goes from the engine to the rear wheels despite the car being Front-Wheel Drive, and when the car's 'engine' sets on fire, flames will emit from the decorative, non-functional grille at the front.

The X80 Proto spoiler only adds a traction bonus turning in one direction depending on where you are on the map The Akuma motorcycle tail light disappears if customized The Z-Type wheelbase is not symmetric. At least one wheel is not flush with the body Some chrome off-road wheels can be colored in certain areas

X-plains a lot! long ago i favored the X-80 for racing..but my experience seemed..off..inconsistent..so i stopped using it. crazy on them messing up the Z-Type..talk about dropping the ball on a super expensive car, ahaha. color chrome should be an option..that's neat!

@@tomj4406 The Z-Type passenger side wheels are further inward. Its most noticeable with the front wheels. I reported this issue on PS3 then PS4 and R* asked me to clear my cache. Its still a problem on PS5. I still have vehicles with colored Mudslinger and Rock Crawler chrome offroad wheels. There was a 3rd type but I cant remember what it was.

Im still waiting for someone to notice that some muscle cars with huge intake upgrades cut the hood, but when the hood is broken off the hood will be whole again with no cut on the ground, seems logical

Here’s an oddity: the stromberg’s transformation animation. When it was released it had full wheel animation. Ex doing a donut or burnout while going from sub to car. But when the toreador came out ( cayo perico heist) the wheels lost those animations, they stay static until the conversion is completed. The toreador had the same problem. It is a minor thing but really annoys me!

To damage the car enough and it not drop or raise the sun roof might be a story mode feature, just like how only in story mode if you crash hard enough you can lose a wheel or pop the tire

something else: the taillights on the tyrant supercar get darker when you change window tint, just like the headlights on the FIB police car

Additions: 1) You can speed up the convertible's roof retracting/extending animation by manually opening or closing the boot prior to using the keybound command for roof extention/retraction (H) on PC I think). At least, for the Windsor Drop. 2) You can make most engines stay in near rev-limiter rpm / over-rev when going down a (slighty) downwards sloped road, using a quick succession of keybound command presses. When going downhill at medium to high RPM, rapidly tap and release Handbrake (spacebar) and Forward / Throttle (W) in sequence (not simultaniously), sometimes in reverse order also works. This forces them to make all kinds of nice pops and crackles and nice engine noises. It also works on level roads, but doesn't stay as long in that rev-limited state. Works well with the Blackfin and Stirling GT. 3) Probably already known, but engine braking works when going downhill in lower gears. At least, for some of the cars I've tried that have properly 'mapped' engines. Really useful if you do a lot of rockcrawling, like me. 4) The Rumpo Custom's spare wheel on the back is bugged, causing it to violently boost the vehicle forwards when reversed into static objects like walls, poles etc. Even causes HP damage to the player. I am willing to show you on PC, if you'd like.

@@carlosmazzarri989 Using the engine as a braking mechanism when releasing the throttle, where several mechanical and fluid dynamic properties effectively turn it into a energy dissipation system and allows for gentle and controlled decelleration. To quote Thomas Megli. "Increased engine braking with adjustable intake valve timing". Google Patents. Retrieved December 15, 2019: "The term "engine braking" refers to the braking effect that occurs in gasoline engines when the accelerator pedal is released. This causes fuel injection to cease and the throttle valve to close almost completely, greatly restricting forced airflow from, for example, a turbocharger. The restriction causes a strong manifold vacuum which the cylinders have to work against, sapping much of the potential energy out of the system over time and producing the majority of the engine-braking effect." Although I highly doubt they've actually modelled thát particular physics model in the engine mapping and programming; I suspect it is bound to the gearing (speed) limits per gear (which can be altered using programs, where e.g. the speed per rev per gear can be changed without affecting the engine rev sound curve).

There was supposed to be a police-themed DLC around the time of Diamond Casino DLC (which is why that one added a new NOOSE outfit for players & also why that is the only outfit in the DLC you cant unlock) its existence leaked ahead of time and a few times since, but it was scrapped because at the time there was a lot of drama in America about police brutality... :( Anyway the reason i mention this is that i think that's where the police vehicle modifications come from?? there's literally no other reason for them to exist, you can't modify police vehicles anywhere when playing normally (read: can never see these parts) but being able to do so in a police garage of some police DLC would've made sense. (glitches side-note: You actually _can_ 'unlock' that NOOSE outfit with a trick, in the sense that you can save it as outfit, for anyone curious it's highly likely Pyre realm has a video about it, if not the short description is get afk kicked from finale while wearing it. In a similar vein you actually _can_ modify police vehicles in some specific cases, like during "Caged in" work from MC, unlike the NOOSE outfit you can't save the cars tho) ---- Something that has greatly bothered me _since the release of the PC/'ng' version_ and afaik still exists on the 'E&E' version of the game: Add a roof to a Voltic, then look at how it attaches to the rest of the car on the back, it's literally glitching inside the rest of the model, reported this several times and eventually got back that "it's supposed to look like this" 🤦‍♂

Actually the mods for the police cruiser were in the game since 2013. They just scrapped the idea of having the player customize it.

There is so much more just the window tint affecting lights happens on many cars there is even the tesseract that tints even the windshield. There are many of so call extras on cars that when changed allow you to make parts invisible. If you give cars F1 wheels that they should not have them and you go to modify the wheels only every second of the wheel styles is available the rest turn them back into default when purchased. I could go on for a while why did you not just ask me not only king?
