how come pyrrole have same formula with methcacrylonitrite C4H5N coz when i want to defined the component id of aspen adsorption 8.4. anyone know about that

nitrogen is bonded to three atoms and thus is sp2 hybridized

But what about the lone pair? Like we take the lone pair into account while finding the steric number right? This means pyrrole has a steric no of sp3...so how come is it sp2 hybridised?

​@@shuvbhowmickbestin I think, because the lone pair is located in 2pz orbital it therefore becomes remote and unavailable, you wouldn't count it.
