I feel like stealth missions should be a new mission type if they're trying to set up areas to do it easier than with other situations like in Stanton.

My brief exploration of Pyro was very enjoyable. Did a box mission and finished the hanger mission at the station I spawned at. Looking forward to getting back in when I can this week. Thanks for another great video, folks!

I spent about an hour just exploring the nooks and crannies of starlight station and probably didn't cover half of it, also very easy to get disoriented. The new "SLAM"/"auto-map" CIG showed at citcon is going to be incredibly useful even if one can't download the full map of the station.

Pyro looks absolutely gorgeous! abandoned stations and scantily clad settlements is my jam - I really think CiG have knocked it out of the park this years citizen con with this and server meshing and many many more beautiful QoL changes

The stations in pyro are amazing not just from a game stand point but from a lore one, these stations are utterly wrecked but still the systems function, a true show of how resilient humans and their tech are in the star citizen universe.

the history in the stations' architecture alone is soo good! Rest & Relax clearly haven't thought about Pyro in a looong time and it shows. and having FPS missions tucked away in the nooks and crannies of these orbital graveyards is just amazing

I did the hangar mission but I was trying to find the maintenance area when they took the server down. It’s cool that you can do missions at the station.

yes it took me a little time to figure out how to get to the maintenance areas too :D i tried crawling through vents and stuff first! having missions in the stations definitely makes them feel more alive and occupied.

@@Citizen_Katei went thru a vent too, but trying to find the mission made me realize there's a lot too the Pyro stations. I was at checkmate, but i think they are similar. On checkmate there are more shops in the galleria that aren't immediately apparent. there's a stairwell after you go thru an open doorway near the big noodle shop in the middle of the galleria. there's a better gun shop and i think it was a component shop on the second galleria level.

I got to play a little bit today before I had to run errands, we landed on I think a planet and were up on a big tower and noticed lights, went down and it was like a massive settlement that we spent at least a half hour exploring and killing the NPCs we found 😂, can't wait to fly around some more

great video i don't know if it was there this time but sometimes in the hangar mission at the far end of the hangar there spawns a ammo box with some p4-ar ammo and a grenade refill box

I did the opposite to you. I got lost coming out of the Hab and ended up in an elevator down to one of the two maintenance decks and while wandering lost in there I found an airlock and EVAd out and found a pad 😊

The stations look great and the on-station missions seem cool. I really want to love this, but how is it more than just a reskin of Stanton? Plentiful clinics and ship storage and easy access to refueling seems wrong. I hoped that a lot more things would have to be player-driven.

How is this going to work with server meshing and potentially hundreds of players in the area?

Server meshing makes it so that many tiny areas are separated into servers, so you could have 100 people on a big cruiser and 100 on another each separate server but still connected its really mindblowing because 30ks will be a thing of the past as well
