@TheDarkflags In Old English the W sounds the same as we pronounce it today. Old English and Norwegian are too different, it's more like Dutch. The short y sound is like the I sound in will, and the long Y sound is like the German ü. The reason I know this is because I'm learning Old English. So I don't know exactly how Wyrd would be pronounced or whether it would be a long or short Y sound. If it's short, it would be pronounced like Wird, and if it's long it would be pronounced like Würd.
