The interrogators did not even need to do anything. They just needed to let him rant and he basically confessed. Easiest interrogation ever for them, but probably the most annoying at the same time.

"Interrogators can make you confess anything" Interrogator says nothing, the guy incriminates himself for 5 hours.
@togglefire35372 жыл бұрын
The reason they're being "nice" to him is two reasons. Reason number one is if you watch the original video they actually don't tell him what they know. They basically just went and arrested him. This is a tactic police used to get people to self-incriminate. The police don't tell you what they know but sitting in the interrogation room makes you agitated and want to confess. Secondly it's not really being nice it's just not saying anything. They asked questions every once in awhile to get him back on track or agree with him when he says something even though it's crazy just to make him feel safe so he opens up and incriminates himself. And if you watch the video that's basically what happened. They kept their mouths shut and let him do all the talking. And in the end he went to jail basically because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. I'm not joking whether you're innocent or guilty of a crime do not say a single word and request a lawyer. A lot of detectives will try to say that wanting a lawyer makes you look guilty but that's not true. They just want some time with you in the interrogation room and hopes that you slip up. Even if you're innocent it's better safe than sorry.
@manboy47202 жыл бұрын
do detectives really say that? jeez. that just makes it sound like they find lawyers annoying and just want to arrest people as quickly as possible.
@togglefire35372 жыл бұрын
@@manboy4720 well that's the thing though. If someone that's innocent comes in the chances of them admitting to anything is near 0%. If you actually watch the guys channel that pyro is talking about you'll actually get a really good explanation for it but I'll give you the short version. You see people when they already get arrested by the police know that there's something up. Someone with an innocent mind is typically going to know something's up but if they didn't do anything wrong they won't have anything to fear. But when you did something wrong and you start to get stressed out and anxious you start to slip up and show certain things of the human mind attempting to make up stories or get out of the trouble they're in. So the trick is to basically let them think they're winning until they think that they've won. And then you pulled the rug out from underneath them in ninety-nine percent of the time they just open up about everything. That's why it my opinion video cameras and interrogation rooms are very important. This guy was a very clear case of the cops just kind of letting him go and letting him talk to the point where he ended up incriminated himself. There was no real coercion on the police department's part. They kind of just sat back and watched the show. So it's not really a bad thing because if you're innocent you have nothing to worry about. But I always tell everybody to get a lawyer just in case because there are still police officers out there that are crooked and you can't really trust anybody anymore. My uncle told me that some cases are very easy and the guy basically sits down in the interrogation chair and immediately wants to confess. Others it takes hundreds of hours of evidence collecting and police work to build a case. And then there's everybody in between
@bruh-ux1ns2 жыл бұрын
It's also a matter of mistreatment, if someone is mistreated by authorities then they can bring that up in court in order to reduce their sentence or get it dropped outright. That's why you'll see cops buying active shooter's burger king and the likes. I'd much rather see arrestees get treated nicely in order to ensure they're reasonably punished more than letting them walk free earlier because I wanted cops to be mean.

I went to jail for a couple of weeks in northwest Vermont a few years ago and EVERY SINGLE INMATE was this guy! Morning, noon and night. About half were in for domestic assault on their wife and/or children and the other half were in for their 7th drunk driving charge. It was Vermont so there were next to no Black inmates - and what few ones who were there were exceptionally polite, quiet and kept to themselves. It was like I had been sent to a quantum reverse anti-matter jail. There was one TV for every 50 man housing unit and we never watched one single football or basketball game. But we did watch every NASCAR race and every pro wrestling match. Watching this ding-dong spout off in this video brought it all back to the front of my memory. Thanks for posting....I guess.

Actually, the worst police interrogation (that I know of at least) is the one where this guy was with his girlfriend and an unknown person came in and murdered his girlfriend, he was also attacked, but instead of getting him medical attention first, the police went straight to interrogating him, because they thought he was the one who did it, and he kept saying a bunch of different people did it every few minutes (example: it was her ex, it was her uncle, etc.) turns out the guy had been shot in the head and it entered through his tear duct, and he already had blood on his face so they didn't notice, he ended up dying shortly after because well, he had a bullet in his brain the entire time he was being interrogated, America is a fucked up place.

I feel like a lot of people covering similar subjects try a bit too much to make themselves stand out or have a recognizable style which is definitely nice, but a lot of the time this comes with drawbacks like a mood some people might not like, a voice people might not like or extra filler in videos which isn't really needed. JCS just gets too the point and interferes only when he has to, which is why I think he grew so much so quickly. His content has a very raw and faithful to reality feel.

He could commentate on “you’re” rotting Filet-o-Fish and I’d be equally invested. Which is to say I’ve just wasted upwards of 15 minutes of my life on a bullshit reaction video to a case I now know less about because Pyro can’t be bothered to create original content or not ramble on about video games. What? Pyro sucks!

that one part where hes talking about his motorcycle and his wife claiming she owns half of it. That was probably a discussion on divorce that she wanted to get, he just took it as "oh shes taking all my shit THAT I PAID FOR!!!!" and then after he murders her, says "How can women be to rotten." How can a human be so disconnected with any type of logic, empathy, basic human emotion.... shits wild 🤣

eh, his wife cheated on him, took his shit, and got a warrant on christmas eve so he couldn't see his own children. She was playing with fire. Not saying what the guy did was right, but I feel very little sympathy for the wife. If the legal system was just the sentence before possibility of parole would be lower

Not even joking but that guy sounds a lot like my dad when he starts to talk about my mom, ever since they separated he has been out to get her, or get money out of her, it's one of the main reasons I hate talking to him, because he would quite literally tell his own son that he would, shot,stab,strangel,beat, what ever the hell he could do, if he ever saw her again, luckily she isn't speaking to him anymore and as moved pretty far from him, he is also in jail
