The question remains on resistors, while it's easy to figure out on smt resistors, how do you figure out what's the left and what is the right in a through hole resistor?

I'm confused with current flow direction. Don't atoms not move in solid conductors, and only negative electrons move?

i was also confused in early engineering classes. for simplicity accept the direction of positive particles. Some authors take direction of electrons .
