You need to watch a video on how to do saddle stitch, loved the burn, but I believe you should case the leather before burning.

I didn’t wet the leather, but it may be a useful technique. I’m not sure, I’d need to research it.

Your burner is set between 7 and 8 at the start, did you kept that heat all the way or did you have to change (to what)?

Hey there! I think I stayed at that heat. Even though the leather is softer and burns easier, the carbon buildup was a much bigger issue and kept effecting the heat. So I left it in the higher range.

Hey there! No, it hasn't worn off yet. And I have traveled with it international, by sea, by plane and on road trips and it's holding up really well. Now there is scratches/wear and tear, but that's to be expected. Thanks for asking!

Wish has a hand held "sewing machine" for $12 usd that should cut the sewing time way down.
