Hello everyone ! Hope you're doing great !
Finally some good weather full of allergi- green leaves and flowers and a nice and warm temperature !!
After starting a new (and quite mentally demanding) job recently, I finally managed to take 2 weeks of days off from work , which I fully dedicated to working on music projects I was either delaying or that I really wanted to challenge myself with and maaaaan what a great time !!
Went back to terrible sleeping schedules and tight deadlines, and rushing on projects, and repeating tracks over and over again ... that left me the feeling of dealing with CB deadlines again WHAT A TIME !! (sounds like I suffered but tbh that was some f*cking great time I had).
Overall, life is going okay, speeding up a little bit but I survive. These two weeks allowed me to recenter a bit on my thoughts, what I want and wish to prioritize (music among them).
Anyway ! Today's upload was actually recorded 3 years ago in late 2020 when I had just moved to my current appartment. After coming back from a sports session, my voice was very smooth and had me try singing Plastic Love (which I was already looping back in the days, due to Caitln Myers ENG cover of it). I then decided to work on a full arrange of the song, to give it a slightly more modern touch, while still keeping its core soul.
I was joined by Stratøs, a saxophonist, composer and arranger from the US who was introduced to me by my friend Niiro (thanks Niiro !!), who delivered the killer solo you can hear mid section of the song (despite me bothering him hahaha).
The longest part of the project was actually cam recording the footages (always the longest part ... and I wanna thank T3VY for her patience in lending me her camera for it).
Video edit was done by me but the very final but crucial touch came from Kerri's aesthetics and work on the more complex parts of the video !
I'm glad I finally get to release this long time due video... it's a bit late compared to the song peak from 2019 but I hope you'll find this version ... "a little bit vuvu" !
