they are two different things. Hive is distributed database and Spark is a framework for Data Analytics. Spark supports multiple languages (Python Java R Scala) but Hive only supports SQL and Java

I don't know much about how to extract Bigdata, hoe to store and how to do visualizations on the transformed data. It would be better if you could add how a basic ETL pipeline works like storing source data to datalakes, apply ETL and store those to warehouses and then steps to the final analytics/Machine learning something like that, and then would dive into the ecosystem, then it would be easier to connect
