The moment you see the Overlord's "mysterious" helper using invisibility at the aquarium, soon after discovering he is a Serpentine, you quickly realize who he is, considering only Anacondrai can become invisible. But I have to say that the new color scheme for Pythor is really good. I loved the fact that they made him have his scales bleached by the Devourer's gastric acids, just to show that Pythor didn't came out untouched.

fun fact. according to Tommy Andreasen, one of the creator. Pythor can turn purple again if he were to shed his skin.

@@woutervandeweghe5265 That makes sense. The Devourer's gastric acids bleached his scales, but snakes can shed their entire skin as new one replaces the old one. But they only do that as they outgrow their own skin and it's a very stressful moment for them. Can Pythor shed his skin at will or does he needs to grow for that to happen? Because if it is the former, I can imagine he doesn't do that to avoid the stress that involves shedding his skin. Either that or he grew to love his new look.

Love seeing the return of Pythor as he's for sure one of the best and most charismatic villains of rhe whole show. Really like his new design too and how the Devourer's venom bleached his skin/scales to become all white I really like seeing the Serpentine establish their own community and grow to no longer hold a vendetta against humanity and become civilised. One thing Im slightly confused about when it comes to the legend of the Golden Master is that since the First Spinjitzu Master made Ninjago and also made the Serpentine to warn humanity about the Golden Master legend and then when they were seen as monsters they hid in separate tombs, however in previous scenes and later seasons its stated that humans were the one who locked the Serpentine away? Maybe I missed something but it seems like there was a bit of different perspectives when it came to the imprisonment of the Serpentine. I do also wonder if Lloyd as the Golden Master grows stronger could he have potentially become corrupted as the legend dictates. That alone would be an interesting twist since weve seen him try to save his corrupted father so maybe if things were different we could've gotten Garmaddon to save his corrupted son

The Serpentine have lived for thousands of years with humans. They were created to warn and protect humans from the rise of the Golden Master, but the fear humans had for them prevented any friendship between them, causing each side to live separated. The Serpentine were sealed in tombs 40 years before the series. That is something that is addressed later on.
