Not entirely crazy, because he has *a few* good ideas about society and technology, but pretty much 90% lunatic. Even Burzum, I used to like It so much and now I grew out of it (still get nostalgic with the Debut and Filosofem, though).

I'm a beginner, so can't really give an informed opinion on pups (stock ones), though I feel like more the ones in the RG (DiMarzios). And breathtakingly beautiful shape (I have the A) and love the colour (neon yellow) - lefties are often left with the choice between a black or a black guitar. 😐 (I have nothing against black guitars, I have one myself but I like colours, especially vivid ones.) And well, you're fun to watch and listen to, so I'm staying for now. 😉

I don't know if somebody else has already commented something similar, but as someone who also listens to a lot of electronic music and used to listen to a lot of hip hop, I can tell you, that gatekeeping is a huge thing in other genres as well. I'm not quite shure if it's as bad as in metal though (didn't encounter to many gatekeepers in person to be honest, but a lot of comment sections on the internet look really terrible). But rappers for example always use "thats not real hiphop!" or "this has nothing to do with rap!" to discredit other rappers or even whole movments inside the scene. And the gatekeeping in the electronic scene is really annoying as well, but at least the artists usually don't join in on it (it's mostly done by the fans)
