this whole podcast has been super helpful in thinking about how I will go about making content! And I'm also NOT great with planning creative stuff, I just wanna do it lol

great episode! speaking of discovery mode, my song 'sunday morning views' has been doing 20k streams a day consistently for the past 3-4 months and about 10k of those are coming from radio. I I decided NOT to put that song on discovery mode because it was already doing well. Then these past few days my radio streams for that song got cut in half! idk if thats spotify saying because I chose not to put my biggest song on discovery mode, then they we're going to take those daily streams away from me. It's extremely frustrating to see that happen to my biggest song so I am contemplating putting it on discovery mode next month. If ya'll have anything similar thats happened with your music Nic maybe you can touch on this subject in the next Q&A. I appreciate it!

Legit, similar thing happening to me right now!! It is quite frustrating, but as long as we’re providing our audience with quality songs, high in value. I’m sure those streams are going to run right back up 🤞🏼

Can I ask if you got to the 20k streams per day level through ads or organic content?
@okaydrod Жыл бұрын
@@oopsySeason i’m actually at 80-90k streams a day now lol that comment was 5 months ago. i’ve never spent a dollar on ads and all of this has been consistent music being put out once every two weeks as well as posting content every single day!

@@okaydrod that's awesome mate, very inspiring. I'm at around 5k daily right now, trying to get it to that lovely 30k daily so it can pay for my day to day living. Going to check your socials out later and take notes. Appreciate the response bro

Love the pod and the advice! Love the mentality of “What if I gave you $10,000?” I’d do it for my business! Lol. Ps. I listen with 1 headphone in usually, and sometimes audio is cut from one person in one headphone or the other. Like Alex isn’t in my left ear at 43 minutes in. Just a heads up!

Great stuff as always, I've heard a lot about Nics content creating and business side but I'd really like to hear some about creation of the music itself. I think that would be really cool to see that process. Thanks for the lessons.

In regards to comments being turned off on Art Tracks this is a direct quote from KZbin help: “Comments on automatically generated Art Tracks are turned off if the primary artist doesn't have an Official Artist Channel.” -I can’t confirm this but thought I’d leave this info here for anyone who’s curious. 😊

I totally understand. We have to become performers and entertainers otherwise our music goes nowhere due to saturation in the market.
