Video suggestion- How you plan your solo trips. How do you decide where you want to visit, the research you complete on the area, do you use a travel agent or search online for best deals and what do you do to protect yourself and ensure you safety while traveling solo.

@Brenda Collazo, I think his health insurance was paid through her bank, which may have been their joint account when they were married. She said she venmoed (? Spelling?) him which I think means she billed him for reimbursement since it is still drafted from her bank account. I know for a fact that she cannot stop the draft. I had an insurance company that failed to stop a draft when I canceled the insurance. I went to the bank to stop it and the bank said the insurance company would have to stop it. So be aware that you lose control when you authorize a bank draft.

I am so happy that you are so happy! ❤️ It is totally fair to call your bank and tell them that a certain charge isn’t approved and have it blocked. It’s not on you if his insurance is canceled because of it. Over half a year is plenty of time for him to figure that out. And the fact that he hasn’t yet is just another example of him taking your kindness for granted and treating it as weakness. After your divorce video I watched a video of you and him doing a vlog together and then I watched a vlog of you alone in Texas. The difference is night and day. There is literally a light around you that you didn’t have when you were married.

Yes! The bank can stop those payments if you ask them too. Even PayPal etc, just inform them they’re not for you, explain your situation, and most places understand and block the money from being taken out.

I’m going through a divorce (counting down the days until august 23rd 😅) after my husband decided he wasn’t “happy”, didn’t think we were compatible, and also had feelings for another woman…while I was 7 months pregnant. It was devastating for a straight 4 months. He put me through hell. But once i officially decided to file for divorce (he didn’t want to work on our marriage but wouldn’t be the one to file), I now have so much peace. I know my worth (I had actually been developing it the last three years of our marriage as he wasn’t giving me emotional/physical validation so I had to make myself happy on my own). I was a Christian when I got married and while I no longer identify as a Christian, I relate a lot to your whole journey! I’ve learned so much because of my marriage, I realized all the insecurities I had that made me choose my (soon to be ex) husband to begin with, and I am just SO much more confident in my own skin and like I said before I truly know my worth. I would have stayed married forever to my ex, especially with a kid, but I have now come to a place of relief that he did all that he did and gave me a clear reason to leave. Not that I’m in a rush to date, but whenever I do get back out there I’m excited to find a genuine, true PARTNER. Your ex-husband sounds VERY similar to my soon to be ex-husband.

It is so GOOD to see you so much happier and at peace. I came across your channel when I myself was considering divorce and watching you grow and heal has been so wonderful. Just a little about me and how I connect to your content... I am in a marriage broken by infidelity; I married very young, and with hopes that my husband and I would have a marriage strengthened in faith. I did not have the strength to leave and feel it is very unlikely I will ever leave this marriage for many complicated reasons. Sometimes I feel hopeless and so lonely but watching your videos gives a sense of strength and hope that I cannot find anywhere else. It can be so lonely to walk this path alone and finding your videos has brought so much comfort. It is so strengthening to see that it is posaible to thrive and be joyous despite such a heavy trial. Thank you for sharing your story and being a place of understanding. I rarely leave comments on YT but I really wanted to let you know the positive impact you're creating. I hope you know how fabulous you are! ✨️💕

Hi, I have been following your program since you were still married and living in California. I am in my late 40's but I really love your program. I am familiar with health issues myself and have problems with my spine and discus and had an operation 2,5 months ago. Therefore I have been having alot of time on my hands. Getting myself entertained drifted towards KZbin pretty much accidentally but also since my TV is with my storage stuff. I am a Finn who has travelled alot and is currently living in Austria. As a Finn really have to recommend Finland as a travel destination instead of or as well as Norway. My current country of residence is beautiful too. Keep up the great work with your channel. Having a Msc majoring in Marketing must say I love the vibe you have on your channel. Also have a young dog and enjoy seeing Max on your channel too. Keep up the good work Michel! Love, Eva

I have it also and during my 20’s it didn’t affect me at all, but now in my 40’s it has progressed a lot and my life has changed substantially! Just a little food for thought that made a lot of sense to me recently. The biggest sacrifice you can give the Lord is obedience to Him above anything else. Obedience is more important to him than anything else you have to offer because it shows your true devotion to Him and trust in what his Word says. Praying for big future decisions you’ll have to make and that you’ll stay close to Him. 💕

Don’t know if you’ll see this, but you can have your bank place an ACH debit block so his health insurance payments will no longer be deducted from your account. Then he’ll likely be contacted by his health insurance company for a different method of payment. If he’s not resolving it on his own at this point, it’s not on you to continue to support him financially and he needs to pay you what he owes you for previous payments and get his own finances squared away.

Being in a super long term relationship, I didn’t know people actually hid or guarded their phones. We will use each other’s phones randomly. And sure I might vent to a girlfriend on text about something he’s doing that annoys me, if he were to see it …not a big deal. Similarly, I don’t text things to friends that are super “private” or I don’t want their partner to see.

I remember when even hinting at negative feelings seemed so uncomfortable. We lived together basically the whole time we dated haha I'm glad we did because I feel like if I didn't know how we functioned in the same space, I would've felt trapped in marriage. Because I had the option to step away (perceived as greater when dating vs married) I could really decide what was important and what wasn't - the way he treats me was important, dirty dishes and the house not being spick and span every second was not! To each their own though, I think it might be sweet to wait if you know the person a while and go through some struggles together to see how each reacts

You have come so far personally and professionally. I'm happy for you and see the happiness in your face. I can see how kind and caring you are, but definitely stop paying his health insurance. Use that money for Paris:-) Love you and your channel!!!

You can set up a stop pay on your account so it declines his health insurance. I would definitely do that!

When you said solo trip to Maryland my heart lit up. No one ever wants to come here. I feel like it’s so forgotten. But it’s home and there is more to Maryland than Baltimore, you don’t want to see that part..

It’s so crazy how EDS affects everyone so differently!! I have really horrible symptoms with mine. Def something to keep an eye out on! Thanks for bringing it up in the video bc awareness for EDS is huge since it goes under diagnosed :)

I found you because of your divorce video, it was the first of your videos that I watched. Ever since that video, I subscribed to you, turned all notifications on and I’ve gone back and watched previous videos. I think god sent your videos to me. He knew I wasn’t okay and that I needed some wisdom from such a pure soul (you) x

Hey Michel! Absolutely love your videos and your growth! I'm from MD, have worked in tourism and there are sooo many cute places here, I feel like you would absolutely love it. Here are some recs of places: Annapolis for history, waterfront restaurants, sailing, and shops. Baltimore for off-the-beaten-path places, arts and history. Fun fact: one of the prettiest libraries in the world is in Baltimore. Frederick for a small-town vibe (lots of coffee places, beautiful river walk also my hometown). And a stop in DC is a must, esp the museums and resuruants. For the water, skip Ocean City and go to smaller beaches on the bay; it'll be prettier, more relaxing and have better crabs.

You could food prep mini egg omelette cups! That was a go - to for me living alone, a little more nourishing and easy to heat up. I froze them! I freaking love your videos. You are so wise and really do review amazing products!

Just wanted to jump in and say how much I love your Q and A videos. I love how open you are about growing and figuring things out and not always being sure and learning to be open to new things. I used to think I’d never want to live with someone before marrying them, then I got married and my perspective changed. I’m happily married, but I think ones perspective can be different after living through things and that’s probably healthy :)

How does that work for people that have utube prime where we pay a monthly fee to get ad free content. Do you still get paid from a % of the membership fees that people pay every month or do you not get paid at all for those who have a monthly membership that lets them watch videos ad free. I was always curious about this .

Unless you’re obligated to pay his health insurance, just call the insurer and cancel him. They aren’t supposed to cover ex spouses.
