I think fleur has made the perfect transition on KZbin with parenthood,there def is a good balance to be had of what to share.
@sarahbee276 жыл бұрын
I think with having kids and you tube, Fleur seems to be really good at this. You see the odd peak now and then but she manages to talk about everything she used too with the extra baby video. Xx
@natatatt6 жыл бұрын
She does get some comments from viewers who are irritated that they don't see her daughter, but I really think those people need to examine why they feel they have the right to see a baby/child who cannot consent to being filmed and viewed by millions of people.
@parnz1876 жыл бұрын
Those comments to me sort of reiterate her reasoning. Fleur has found a fab balance I think.

This video felt like having coffee with a friend! I really admire the way you own your values and outlook on life, even when they aren't in line with the typical super-sweet internet persona that we tend to expect from female content creators. You're an intelligent badass and I love it!

Lily, sometimes it hurts my heart to see all the unnecessary and contrived hate you get. You are someone for me who has been a friend, albeit digitally, in the times when I desperately needed it. In my darkest of times, and they have gotten quite dark, I go to you as a source of content that can alter my mood and outlook for the better. Long and short of it all, when you get these hateful and spiteful comments trying to tear you down, I desperately implore you to be reminded that you've helped me in a way I couldn't have possibly imagined, and I know you've done this for others too. And truly, at the end of the day, that is enough.

i’m not typically one for q & a’s, but yours is so refreshingly honest and open. i like how chill you are and how real you seem- not everything is ‘amazing!’ and perfect.
@SandKitchen6 жыл бұрын
I agree with whoever said that you've got that IDGAF attitude lately -- I don't think that it's because you've shown you don't care, I think it's the opposite. You've shown that you are aware even of negativity/comments, do care, but will still stand your ground and put out the content you want. I've been following you for years (I don't want to count, lol, it's just going to shock me I'm sure) and don't comment the vast majority of the time (even though as a content creator myself I know it makes a difference) but: you're doing amazing from this end, and I always love seeing your videos.

Always love a Q&A Lily, your vlogs are still my favourite out of any you tuber but I appreciate you don't want to share as much these days. I totally get that, as I've pulled back from social media, I left fb a few years back and only occasionally post on Instagram. I just don't like sharing everything. Also I'm glad you are honest and real and don't try to portray a perfect life, so don't ever change that about you!! That's one of the reasons I prefer watching you than other you tubers, you are so relatable x

Loves this video! I’ve always loved how honest you are with your videos and online presence. It seems like a lot of people only consider honesty to be 110% transparency, but you don’t owe that to us. You are honest with what you do share, and I love and respect that so much about you. Thank you for making my day with this video!

"I don't go around saying "Oh my God I'm so grateful for life!"" That really got me laughing because I think your humour and sarcasm has been one of the reasons you've become one of my favorites around here. I think you talk about life as real as it comes and sometimes too much positivity comes across in a way it's not real anymore? Something like that.

I watch but don't usually comment but really loved this Q&A mostly because you were so honest which is ironic really because I also wanted to say I appreciate you feeling you have to hold part of yourself back and don't always tweet or post because of the negative reaction. I am a family blogger and although nowhere near your level of following am quite concerned how much recently people seem to think they need to share ALL of themselves, it makes me feel I'm falling behind because I'm not willing to 'sell out' my entire family and feelings. I think there's a certain class in not saying offensive things or jumping on every bandwagon which is a part of why I love watching you (and Anna). I believe both of you will manage to incorporate this into your family lives when children come along.

I've been blogging/filming for about 8 years, from when my kids were toddlers to now being 8 and 10. I'm not a family blogger/vlogger but I have a family, so sometimes they will just be in the background, but the focus of my channel is me and food - not about them. I'd say just don't stress about it - see what happens when the time comes and do what you feel comfortable with.

Your comments regarding photo and live the moment really gets me. It is so hard to find the balance. But I really hate when everyone in concerts or going out constantly on their phone. Love your videos just as much now as I did 4 years ago. I remember you used to apologize a lot if you where complaining about stuff. And in the past year or so you have stopped apologizing for you being yourself. One if the many things which is great about KZbin is seeing other cultures and other lifestyles. I feel like the world is literally on my doorstep (or more like on my screen actually). Like I always say, keep up the great work you do. And good luck with the rest of the renovation ♡

For me, as a viewer, it is important that the life that I see in YT or IG is as real as possible. Meaning that what is the point of doing "what I wore this week" when someone puts the outfits on only to make the photo and she never actually goes anywhere with this? Or as you said, someone goes to somewhere only to make photos there :))) Thank you for offering us the real bits of your life. I actually like when you sometimes vlog when you do "nothing" or when you are not in your best mood. It is so relatable and that is something I always seek for :) PS. I am coming to London tomorrow!!! For the first time! I probably cannot sleep tonight. OK. I have to go ironing and packng now :)

London... I hear you! I moved to Southern California for 10 years, then Miami, then New York from London, all wonderful places, but I missed my family in the U.K. once I had kids. There’s no place like home!

Lily, I must say I get you 100%. I share most your opinions and views and I am grateful for being able to watch you on youtube. Also I like your sense of humour so keep that... ;-) Love you!
@Chanit246 жыл бұрын
People can be very sensitive and one of the downsides of written words is you can't always tell the tone of voice something is said in. The fact that people can be sensitive should be enough to make someone stop and think before they DM you or complain about something you've done. The messages they send could be interpreted in a negative, upsetting way too. I've learnt that you have to be so careful with what you say and if it's going to detract from the conversation or the person it's better not to say it. Like other people have mentioned your honesty and transparency really does show through - keep being you! xx

This was great! So relaxed and a perfect Sunday video. Make more videos like these! Also, I’m okay if the favorites videos disappear 🤷🏽♀️. I really just don’t like them anymore. I find myself skipping them over and over. The format is so boring and we already know what you like because you are excited about it which means you talk about it in other platforms or even here on KZbin so it’s okay to not have another video about it. Just my opinion and maybe I’ll just skip them like I have been if they return but just thought I would let you know how I feel. I look forward to your videos on Sundays and when I see a favorites my morning is like sooo blah! Lol. It’s not that serious...hehehe! Anyways, thanks for a lovely video this Sunday.
