I couldn't really say who'd win between Gohan and Superboy in an actual researched battle but I imagine it would be close and Superboy despite being a half human clone of Superman, still seems like he can hold his own with full fledged Kryptonians so he's not that much of a downgrade and from what I have seen, he's been able to keep up with a few Flashs as well, Bart Allen and he also could keep track of Kingdom Come Flash which pretty much just stopped any crime in his city instantly and was so fast that he could perceive other dimensional planes of existence which came into play when he ripped a character out of a ghostly realm while he was watching the heroes because Flash could actually see him when no one else could so keeping track of that is impressive as hell. They also both have combat training so neither of them are slouches when it comes to hand to hand either. I'd say the most dangerous thing in Superboy's arsenal is his Tactile Telekensis because as far as I am aware, he at one point used it to tear a Black Lantern Superman apart at a molecular level so he could very well do the same to Gohan if given the chance and no amount of durability will save you from such an attack when every molecule is being ripped from your body. I'd say he also has the potential to be more durable since he's fought Superboy Prime multiple times and Superboy Prime has punched reality and I have seen him be explained as being as broken as Pre-Crisis Superman, the original Superman that could drag and sneeze away galaxies, but unlike that Superman, Prime never got a power drain so he remains broken, and Superboy has survived fights with something like that. I am not 100% well versed in both characters so this is just going off of what I have seen from Superboy but I could see him winning though I imagine its close either way. Gohan will definitely win a fan poll though, you might as well not even have one for a DBZ vs X fight unless its an equally popular franchise because even if the opponent would clearly win the fight, like even if its Destroyer God Infinite who can blink people away vs Krillin, people will still pick Krillin. Honestly I think only Yamcha would warrant a fairer split of votes.

@@andysnider4593 I imagine they'd stick to the post crisis to pre new 52 Superboy since that would be the one everyone is familiar with as that version is in Young Justice and Reign of Superman. The only other Superboys are Johnathan Kent, Superman's true son and Superboy Prime which is just a younger and more violent and unhinged Superman so Connor Kent from the main universe after Crisis of Infinite Earths and before New 52 would make the most sense.
