Hello Jonathan. I just wanted to thank you for changing my perspective completely and helping me experience a part of life that I was blind to. I used to be a materialist atheist but after watching your videos my worldview changed completely and I realized that atheism was nothing but another ideology, and a very harmful one. Gradually, by praying and reading the bible not superficially, I finally feel like I'm leaving the world of dead matter and accepting Christ into my heart. I hope that more atheists get to learn about symbolism and join the faith, they have no idea how full of beauty and truth the other side is.

That's the power of the word of God. I also started by praying a few times a week to reading the gospel a few times a week and when i finished reading the book of Mark, God sealed me with his Holy Spirit when i believed and repented wholeheartedly for my sins. For i realized that Jesus died because of me and it was really I who crucified Him yet despite that he had mercy on me when i was still His enemy.

He's talking about incest but refers to its symbolism as Matthieu does in his book, for a small excerpt: "As illustrated in the previous diagram, incestuous relationships create self-referential feedback loops in the fabric of 'space'. In other words, incest undermines the integrity of familiar space. It does so by transforming the reproductive tree pattern into a self-negating and self-renewing cyclical pattern. In the Bible, incest, adultery, and all sexual taboos are considered acts of regression that unravel civilization into a primitive cyclical condition."

He did, just not in the way I think the question intended for it to be answered. I think the question was a lot more straightforward. "Why do pepple marry their cousins in the Bible a lot?" But Jonathan explains it, not directly or plainly, but why it happens on a symbolic level.

@@Tyler_W But the question wasn’t “what’s the symbolic significance of marrying family vs strangers?”. I think the person was asking a pretty basic question that has a pretty basic answer.
