This is my Q&A that I promised for a while, it was a little long so I'm going to stick to one question for now and a new one each day.

I don’t think it was a shot, he’s just being honest and realistic. No one really will pay for custom bikes like that. The only reason OCC was able to do it was because of the show. Most of those builds the customer didn’t give a fuck about the bike, lots didn’t even want it. Just wanted the TV space. That’s why a huge portion of those bikes are still owned by Paul or Jr.

I had a hard time watching American Chopper. We owned a company for 30 years .. My Mother, Father, Brother, My wife and me. The fighting made OCC look tame. The unnecessary stress took a huge toll. My wife and I are the only ones left living. I understand how bad the atmosphere was trying to work in that environment and how difficult it could be to just go to work. I am happy to hear you have left that pressure and come back to real life. I still have a hard time watching American Chopper...It just hits too close to home.

From one man to another. Whatever you wanna do is what you do. Long time American Choppers TV show fan. After awhile, we kind of enjoyed the craziness in the show. Paul and jr never truly appreciated you contribution to the spectacular builds. Again, you had input to the ending result of some of those builds. True Dat! You were the reasonable, logical, and keeper of the peace individual of the show. Don't ever forget that. Not that you care, o ly because that's what all of viewers loved. You are a creative customizer/fabricator more than some reality TV guy. Rock on man!

Yes you were one of the best fabricators period, my wife and I are fans of your custom work, I think that's because we could see that you took the time and made sure everything was perfect when customizing your bikes, we miss seeing you on American chopper series and hope that Discovery Channel contacts you in the future to have your own Auto Mechanic and custom fabrication show again in the future, thanks for many years of great programming and for entertaining our family for so many years Vinnie, From George and Carmen Hardy

It is plain for anyone to see you're a good guy. Many of us really liked you on the show because of that fact. Personally I think it is a huge mistake to stay away from the return of that show, (or any show) but I certainly admire that you are being true to yourself. I believe you will always be successful at whatever you do... it is a blessing to be able to earn a living at something you enjoy. You seem to really have it together. Hi Vinnie I'm a viewer in the UK and so Happy to hear that all is now good for you and your family nowadays, quality of life should always take priority in my view . I was an avid viewer back in the time as am from an engineering back ground , (prototype parts for Rolls Royce, Aston Martin , Lotus and a few years machining on the F1 side Lotus, Aston Tickford and Cosworth ) very much enjoyed each episode until a time i recall SNR didn't want you to go early either just before or after your wife gave birth to one of your children ! Fairy early days i think ! Its the day i lost respect for SNR ! His EGO became fare greater than his body mass i my view. You and a very few others made that company and gave it a reputation that they clasped hold on for as long as they could . Regards Jules

Great to hear from you again Vinnie. You certainly did the right thing when getting out of OCC amid the mayhem and drama caused by Teutul senior, Discovery wanted drama and certainly got that, all the tantrums, screaming and yelling, smashing things up only distracted from the job in hand of building custom bikes, Mikey did bugger all, always came late, there was no urgency when Paul Jr. bothered to turn up, glad to see you are still around Vinnie, working on cars or bikes, you were always a genuine guy, thanks for your efforts!!

Hey Vinnie. I started watching American Chopper right from the beginning and always enjoyed watching you work, along with the dynamic you brought to that show. You were by far the best part of that show, period. It was interesting to hear how your work life has progressed since those days and that you're doing something you truly enjoy these days. I've always thought highly of you and this video once again reinforces why I do. Keep up the good work and I wish you continued success!

Here in Canada a friend of mine went to court over a non compete and judge deemed it as you can’t stop somebody from making a living and forced the non compete to be thrown out!!

Most non-compete clauses are not worth the paper they are written on. Most states have right to work laws which means you are entitled to earn a living in your chosen field. Typically under a no compete clause there is a severance package if you resign or are fired.

You're a cool dude Vinnie. I am glad to see you working for yourself. I am just a small cabinet maker but I am much happier running my own business vs. working for others.

Senior treated you and Junior like Dog poop. You guys were the heart and soul of OCC. Now Jason is designing bikes. And Paul Sr. is nearly bankrupt. Glad to see you love what you do. I spent 47 years in Printing, which I hated.

Your work has inspired me since '03! I have to admit, at first I was bummed that the original shop split up. But it is great to see that everyone is happy and going down their own creative paths! So glad that you are doing what you love. Good for you!

Being a European and considering your experience of custom builds and other...you would be hired as highly skilled design professional just anywhere....and for a very high pay. I’m saying this because some parts of your experiences sound like you had a bit of struggle at some point. All I’m saying is that companies need such skilled people like you :)

Yeah, I remember watching OCC back in 2007. That shit was a circus. Sr. was a nutjob. I can only imagine the stress you had to deal with. Good thing you left.
