Dr. Black is the epitome of a powerful female. Her physical beauty, considerable mental talents and enormous heart make her one of the most gorgeous human beings I've ever seen. I hope to become more like her every day.

She is so intelligent, and caring. I also like her sense of humor: an amazing woman!

Not a subject I am particularly interested in but so well presented it was absolutely absorbing.

Having had the pleasure of meeting prof. Sue Black, her wealth of knowledge and expertise is outstandingly inspiring. She expresses great passion, empathy and care in her field of work. A truly remarkable woman.

Very informative and interesting, especially given the title which gave me the impression that it would be the opposite. Ever since watching the, sadly missing, Christmas Lectures by Eric Laithwaite - "The Engineer in Wonderland" in the 1960s, I have been a fan of the Christmas Lectures and with the advent of the online copies I have watched all that is available. I have also watched just about every other Royal Institution lecture available online, some more than once. At 67 years old, I would hardly be described as a young person, but I look forward to watching the Christmas Lectures each year as well as frequently checking for other RI videos such as this one. Thank you for providing such a great alternative to the mundane rubbish we seem to get on TV here in New Zealand.

I love this woman! Such expertise is hard to find, I would think. Her explanations are clear and lucid. Thank you Sue Black, Professor, Dame, all honours rightfully deserved. ❤

Thank you for an excellent lecture - it was quite encouraging. I would suggest that, in addition to the scientific methods, those companies who host traffic on servers be charged an apropriate CARBON charge for internet traffic and server storage. The large 'Social Media' companies are NOT paying or charging for the cost of distributing a photo or any other media - hurt their pockets ...
